In applying the oil, it was easy to do and had a little left over for cologne...LOL. The cedar scent doesn't smell overly done or fake, it is a legit wood smell to the scent. Like I said in my video, it reminds me of going into my grandfathers wood shop as a kid and he had piles of old wood stored up. Really nice product and I highly recommend this as a beard oil if you haven't tried any others or if you want as nice, well done wood scent in your beard. Doesn't get any more manly than this!

Admittedly, I purchased to support the creators of this product, Origin Maine, and to further support the "Made and Sourced in America" movement. I have purchased other products from Origin Maine and I have found them to be of high quality so I expected nothing less from their beard oil. I guess there are a lot of factors that people take into account when they evaluate beard oil. For me, the most important thing is that it softens and hydrates so that I don't have to deal with brittle hair and itchy skin. I have been using the oil for a couple days now and it seems to be doing the trick. The beard feels soft and my skin feels good too. As for the other details, my order shipped and arrived quickly. In fact it arrived well before the predicted timeframe communicated by Amazon. Out of the three available scents, I chose the perfect storm cedar. The scent is good and very similar to other cedar scented beard oils I have tried. I hadn't really thought much about the scent hanging around for a long time but as I have payed attention a little more, I have found that it is fairly vibrant at first and remains noticeably subtle throughout the day. If you are into packaging, Origin Maine doesn't disappoint. Product design is obviously a strong suit. It gives the impression of a high quality product and I have that the impression rings true. So, if you are into manly scents and you want to maintain or improve the condition of your beard while supporting American Manufacturing, Consider Origin Maine's new line up of beard oils. I think you will be happy, as I am, with your purchase.

I have a collection of beard oils. Many of them half used because they didn’t do the job.I jumped at the chance to order this beard oil. To me the scent is secondary. I want beard oil to condition my skin and beard. After a couple of days with this oil is top notch. The viscosity is as good as it gets. It’s not too oily and absorbs well. The scent isn’t overpowering. I look forward to trying the other scents soon.I’m a big fan of Origin products. Jiujitsu Gis, compression, denim, and nutrition products. All made in America. This is another example of a great product from this great company.

I have been using Live Bearded beard oil for a year or so now. I enjoyed it, but it had its challenges. Beard oil, that doesn't leave your beard densely compacted or anything else negative. My skin feels great.Citronella starts with a strong chime, however, within 20-30 minutes, its smooth and sits well.Additionally, it comes with a dropper and measurements so you can be precise if you are like me. I knew nothing about beard oil until the last few years. I never gave the brand or what was in it much thought so I just bought whatever was available. I have been following Jocko, listening to the Order of Man Podcast, which both led me to Origin. I have been on a big kick lately on trying to make sure that I buy or at least attempt to buy American-made and sourced products so when I heard about the beard oil, I was sold.I have been using it since it was first available. I will admit that my beard is softer and there is no trace of an itch. I have fairly sensitive skin and there have been no issues. My wife loves the smell (cedar) so that makes it worth it right there. I am not sure how it "stimulates growth" but time will tell. I have been pushing to see how far I can go on growing my beard at work. I am hoping that my Chief doesn't call me out and make me trim it back. Loving the bigger beard.With all that said, I will be buying this from now on. I am excited to try the other scents as well. Thank you Origin for bringing true manufacturing to our country.

I have used several beard oils, and this one stands above the others I have used so far (so long Old Spice!). I wanted to invest into a different oil, that I knew was American-made and developed by people who care. Origin is a brand that I can get behind.I chose the Cedar blend, which was not overpoweringly fragrant. I only need a drop or two and I am set for the day. Being in New England, the winters tend to dry out my skin and this product has helped after about a week of use.The branding speaks for itself. Who wouldn't want to have a Captain-quality beard?The packaging was professionally done. It wasn't tossed into a huge box without any sort of padding, rather it was in an appropriately sized box with some simple paper to keep it arriving safely and securely.Overal, I would recommend. If I would offer a critique, it would be that the price is a bit on the higher end for the amount of oil you receive. But, with higher quality comes a higher price tag. Being made in America was worth the extra money.I am looking to try the Spruce blend next!
