I purchased this for use as a soup bowl. It comes with the lid which fits well and keeps the contents hot. It holds a full 500 ml so is a good man-sized serving. It is a clean white glaze finish inside and out. It is a fine addition to anyones China cupboard

Used for french onion soup. Really good size, you can fit a good dinner portion in them. I seen a previous review about it being difficult to use a spoon with them ? No idea why someone thought that - no issues whatsoever.Look nice, packaged incredibly carefully. Survived small blast in the oven & cleaned up perfectly.

Numerous customers have complained about the lid not fitting. I am surprised that the distributors/ manufacturers have not sorted this problem by now. Pretty poor!

I shouldn't think anyone would ever be disappointed with W M Bartlett stuff. To my eyes, this is the perfect soup bowl and it exactly AND ELEGANTLY accommodates the contents of a standard can, adding a touch of class to a microwaved Heinz staple.

Lid did not fit. Rang Company and they said tel no on Amazon was nothing to do with them

Dont be fooled by the photos lolI unpacked the cardboard delivery box, and the 2 lidded soup bowls were separately wrapped in a lot of bubblewrap, but unfortunately 1 soup bowl had a broken lid, and the second soup bowl had 1 broken handle, and its brim was chipped as wellThe soup bowls had space in the cardboard box to move around, and this is probably why they got brokenIt's a shame that they arrived broken, however, these soupbowls are too small in diameter in comparison with the soup bowl's depth / height - I would not have been able to put a spoon into the bowl to eat soup, or to eat stew, because it would have been like trying to fish olives from a tall olive jar with a spoon - the diametre of these soup bowls is only 1cm, or 2cms wider than the diameter of a standard mug - that diametre is not big enough for a soup bowl - I think that the company who made these made a mistake with the measurements when producing these 'soup bowls', and that's why the company are now having to flog them on Amazon with deceptive photos of the soupbowls which make the soup bowls look bigger than they actually areNice Design, Nice Colour, but they need to be much Larger 🤔

This is not a soup tureen, not for an adult anyways, more like part of a sugar and creamer set. I was expecting more for the high price. I am very disappointed and I will return this piece.
