Solid metal, works great. It's kind of hard to flip the valve lever the first few times, but gets easier.

I believe these to be well made. They serve their purpose. The only reason for 4 stars is that they are hard to turn on. I have arthritis. Hopefully they will get easier the more I use them.

These really shoot a nice stream out. I had several similar with plastic valve knobs that would beak if the hose was dropped. These are very sturdy. The valve knob is a little hard to move but hope they will loosen up with time

I have been using these for a while now and i'm very happy with them. they are extremely sturdy, they get dragged through the dirt and gravel and i haven't broken one yet! also they are leak free. they are a bit tight in turning open and closed but that could also be my wimpy hands. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

I love these shutoff valves as it allows me to be able to switch spray nozzle or sprinkler devices without having to make multiple trips to the house on/off exterior pipe. There are times when i start out with a spray nozzle to water certain plants in pots and then i need to connect to the sprinkler head. Previously this would involve multiple trips to turn off the water. Now with the Shut Off Valve attachment, the water cutoff is easy which removes the pressure allowing the sprayer quick disconnect release, then i can connect to the sprinkler and turn on the water. Saves so much time.

Works great! Valve is tight. Simple take wire pliers and turn it on an off a few times and it’s easy to turn on and off.
