Does the job!
I had a decent size nail, and the free tire repair place wouldn't fix it because they said the tread was too low and I need new tires. Spent 45 minutes there accomplishing nothing. Fixed the flat myself in about 10 minutes at home using this kit! I love the little nail removal tool. One thing to be aware of: the "reamer" tool is not abrasive at all. It will not remove any rubber by moving it in and out. If you have a weird shaped hole this might be bad, but it also means less damage to your steel belts, which is good. Since it didn't enlarge my hole, pushing the string in was HARD. I couldn't do it by hand, so I had a friend back my vehicle onto the string insertion tool. I used a stick to keep the handle from sliding. Maybe this wouldn't have been necessary if I removed the tire, so I could use my weight on top of the tire, but I opted to leave the wheel in place and fix the nail at the 4 o'clock position. A week later, 100 miles, and tire still holding pressure!

Very good
Hello. This tire plug kit is very good. This is the first time i have ever used a tire plug system before. I used this on a large rear tire on zero turn mower. It had two punctures from running over a large type wood staple.Read instructions, watched video and tire was easy to repair. Filled tire with air first and yes the air was whizzing out puncture holes. Reamed out first tire hole, inserted tire plug sticky thread string in insertion tool, pressed pushed in hole down to the metal stop ring thing on top of tire tread which leaves about 1/2 to 1/3 left sticking out on top.Put more air in tire and did same to second tire hole puncture. Trimmed top of sticky string to top flush of tire.I am sure you could do this without putting air in tire, i did because i had a small air compressor available. Also i am sure a steel belted radial tire would be a little tougher getting the sticky string in hole, but the insertion tool is pointed and you should be able to twist the tool to work it’s way through. The mower tires being soft was real easy. Yes I would recommend this kit.

Good
Overall this is good. I didn’t use it yet since I got it for self use. Which is a good thing my tires are all good! The only thing it didn’t come with is plyers/needle nose to pull the obstruction out. I got pairs of those tho. So overall comes with plenty of everything and is a good price. Worth it! Good buy!

Works!
Picked up a nail while waiting on a good tire sale but car shops said they couldn't plug the tire (too worn). I tried this since the price was right and reviews were positive. It took a lot more force than I expected to insert the plug but it worked! I also have a lawn tractor tire with a roofing nail -- that's next.

Great prise
Thums up, good tool, more heavy duty than you'll find in some stores.

Works
Only used once seems like a great product. I’m glad I had it in the vehicle would definitely recommend purchasing.

It works.
I have used it only once. It worked well and was not difficult to use. I like to go off road, and in sand or mud, the last thing you want to do is replace a tire. Repairing it is easier. You don't need to lift the car. Just remember to have also a tire inflator.
