Must Reading For Every Golf Fan
I've owned several copies of this book and enjoyed reading it time after time. Probably the best golf book I've read with the possible exception of "The Dewsweepers", but this stands out because it was written by the man himself and considering the equipment and course conditions of the day, a true standout in golf literature. So wonderful to hear stories told by the greatest amateur player of all time...and some say still the best American golfer to ever play. A wonderful read.

Great Book
The legend of Bobby Jones leads you to believe he never hit a bad golf shot in his life. However, this book allows you to hear from Mr. Jones himself about all the struggles he faced as he learned how to play the game and the ongoing struggles he had with hitting the ball well. You realize that Bobby Jones was a regular human, like all of us, who had good days and bad days - often times struggling with his confidence and temper. It's a really fun read and highly recommend this book to the avid golf fan/historian.

The Simplicity of Golf
Jone's entertaining stories of his golf tournaments and his recurring theme of fighting against old man par were an insight to the game in the first half of the book. The second half discusses the techniques he employs to play the game. The only thing is I wish there was a definition of the terms he uses to descibe his golf clubs. I had no idea what a niblick or mashie were. He does give yardage for each club that you can kind of trasfer to todays club. All in all a very interesting and fun book to read.

Boby Jones, the early years
The book arrived in great condition and I was surprised at how quickly it came in the mail. I have read it and have enjoyed this book as well as others co-written with O.B. Keeler. Bobby Jones was a phenomenal sportsman at an early age and quite unpretentious, yet very informative about his skills. It was kind of what I expected; except better.

Excellent autobiography Buy a young Bobby Jones
Excellent autobiography Buy a young Bobby Jones. Golf was certainly different in that age. Amateur golf was big time.

有名だが
代表作として有名な本ですが、彼がグランドスラムを達成したまだ若い28歳のときのものだけに、深みに欠けると感じます。技術的なことであれば「On Golf」が優れています。
