Like sleeping in a weighted cloud
Okay, WOW! I went back and forth on buying this based on the reviews, and let me tell you I’m glad I did! A lot of reviews saying that this is ‘light’ and ‘thin’ and clearly those folks did not buy the 500gsm. I bought the two-in-one duvet insert and this thing is AMAZING! Not only is it ridiculously warm, but it is HEAVY when you put both inside a duvet cover. This is what I’ve been searching years for. I replaced my down duvet with these and I’m so glad I did. Not only is it great to not have feathers everywhere, but it is warmer, heavier, and cozier.11/10 recommend!

Great buy
My husband loves Merino wool anything and so when I saw this at a good price, I couldn’t help but buy it for our new larger bed. I was worried it wouldn’t keep us warm enough as it was a little thinner than I expected but so far so good we are very cozy. We will see how it goes in other seasons.

Great quality for the price
I like the even placement of the cotton batting. It is not too warm or too cool. The duvet has a nice weight so I don’t need more blankets for that weighted feeling that is nice to make a person feel relaxed. I haven’t washed it yet but I do fluff it in the dryer with wet bath towels I have washed and are still wet.

Strong Chemical Smell
Out of the box they didn’t have much of a smell, but once I washed it one time, it came out with a very strong chemical smell. I washed it a second time and dried it to see if the smell would go away but it did not. I washed it 2 more times and the smell decreased but didn’t go away. After washing it 5 times, I can still find that smell but it’s getting fainter. The question remains as to what that chemical is and if it’s harmful. The whole point of getting this was to get the healthiest, most chemical free comforter to get away from polyester and pesticides. This comforter is is too expensive to not solve the problem of getting only healthy and natural materials into your bed.Update: The manufacturer told me the smell is lanolin, which is produced by the sheep's sebaceous glands.

Not as heavy as we thought
Very nicely made, high quality fabric, no off scents. I talked my husband into buying this to replace a duvet and weighted blanket, but it’s much lighter than the shipping weight indicates. Still nice, though I feel cheated out of 8 pounds.

Really warm and well made
This is more of a winter blanket for me. It’s says it’s light weight but it’s too warm for me with the window open in 50 degree nights. None the less, I love that’s it’s light weight and I can’t wait to use it when it cools down. It’s very well made. I’d recommend it.

Wool duvet insert medium all season
Absolutely love this duvet insert. Perfect for the Midwest winter. Perfect weight. So warm, no extra covers are needed.

Very thin and light - was implied it was heavier, disappointed
I ordered this to telex the wool and organic cotton comforter I’ve loved and had for years. Unfortunately out of the box it’s like 1/3 the thickness and probably 1/3 of the weight of my other one, which I am disappointed about as I looked at many to Mae sure I got the heaviest one. It does appear to be high quality finish & I do like the material and the fact that it’s boxed so that the wool doesn’t move around. That happened often with my other one and then the bed looks lumpy. Hopefully it will be weighted enough for a great nights sleep??? Also unhappy to find on the tag it was made in China.

Great
Wish I could afford another. Got a twin size so it can fit in the washing machine. It regulates temperature very well and perfect for in between seasons. Using it with a house temperature of 20 celcius.Even my husband ditched the down blanket and squished into the twin sized blanket with me.Haven't used it in the summer yet, but will see how it fares.

A bit too warm for me.
Duvet is of great quality, it feels nicely made. I wanted a summer/spring duvet comforter to use in the warmer months. But this summer /spring one is a bit too warm for me even at room temp of 18' .... I am a hot sleeper... Great customer service.
