It's easy to use. Catches fire quite fast. Burns evenly and lasts a longer compared to regular coal. A lot more convenient to get hold of as you just have to order online, getting regular coal is a nuisance. But one issue, leave a lot of thick dust, which envelops the buring pieces and also clogs up the barbeque dust holes from below. Regular coal the dust blows off quite easily but this jams things up. Needs to be vigorously shook quite often to prevent the dust from clogging things up. Also the holes below in your bbq need to be big or else you need to empty the whole thing out, get rid of the thick dust and refill it. You will get covered in a lot of dust while using this. Messy.

It's a worthless product. It single handedly destroyed my new years plans. The so called charcoal wouldn't lightup. Even after 20 minutes of keeping it on direct gas flame the charcoal would extinguish in seconds. It's like trying to light up a stone. The heat produced from the lighted charcoal was not even sufficient to keep the hands warm let alone cooking in a barbeque. Do not buy this product. Instead spend a little time and find a charcoal shop near you that sells authentic charcoal.

Half were in powdered state.The chunks are too big and takes more time to catch fire. Think twice before you order.

It took me one hour to get the coal lit.Once its lit the coal burns very slow so it took us very long to cook the items.but the best part is it cooked all the chicken pieces perfectly
