Bacon Spread - Red Chile & Garlic Bacon Jam - 8.5 oz Jar - USDA Certified - Made With Real Bacon

I tried this last year at Brattleboro's baconfest, and it was delicious. This year, it was still delicious, so I finally ponied up and bought some. It was gone in a matter of days, and I just had to get some more here on Amazon. Price wise, It's gotta be a special occasion for me, but this jam is a special occasion all by itself. Delicious, and bravo!

I ordered the "All original" bacon spread, and when I opened my package, it wasn't even what I ordered. Instead I received a bacon gift set including spice rub, sugar, Carmel corn, and the bacon spread but in the wrong flavor… "Black pepper". If it wasn't for the fact that I ordered it for a cookout that was scheduled, I would be returning it. Still going to try the spread, but still not what I wanted.

The jar arrived unsealed and the lid kinda just fell off. Honestly, I'm not sure how it kept the bacon jam from spilling all over inside the shipping box. I'm not one to make waves or complain so I was going to just not write a review... But then I got curious and noticed that a couple other reviewers have had the exact problem. So I thought a review would be helpful. At the very least, the manufacturer might be alerted and able to rectify the problem before someone else receives an unsealed jar and doesn't have the brains to throw it away and poisons themselves. It was kind of a bummer because it was supposed to be a white elephant gift at a party and I didn't notice until we were just about to leave for the party. ☹️

Delicious served with pimento cheese on Ritz Crackers. My second order was not the same quality as the first. First order was a good blend of bacon and onion. Second order was at least 90% onion 5% bacon and 5% fat (white solid layer of fat on top).

Very tasty! I have just eaten this on a bun with a little butter. BOOM! the flavor is strong! Pepper, bacon and jam! Fantastic! BUY BUY BUY!I want to try this on toasted wheat! I bet it will be great!

Very Good!! No extra ingredients, tastes like bacon. Used it as a spread on crackers and also on top of Baked Potatoes with Sour Cream. Will order it again!

Could had been better, but it is way too sweet and not enough flavor on the spices. I just taste sugar and bacon.
