I bought this and Aneagle® 5.8G 40CH Channel 600mW AV Audio Video Long Range Wireless Transmitter TX Sender for FPV to build a long range target monitoring system. I had no idea such a device existed. But I'm glad I found it because it provided a nice monitoring solution for my project. It arrived a day earlier than it was promised and it was packaged like a Rolex watch. Beautiful box! The unit itself is machined very well with very good attention to detail. It has a nice brushed/anodized finish and nice inscriptions on the various ports and buttons. The controls/buttons are well thought out clearly marked and intuitive to use. There is a 3 LED battery charge indicator for the on board battery. It came with a USB cable to charge it and the cable has a lighted "u" connector that lights up when its plugged in to the unit to charge- red for charging, blue for charged. Nice touch. The housing is flawless. And it functions as good as it looks. The instructions direct you to search for "TOTEM Software" on the Google play store for the Android App to link your smartphone to it. But I had watched the YouTube video about the device before I bought it and the video directs you to the correct App: WIFI AVIN. I followed the instructions and I was watching video on my smartphone of my target 100yds away in no time. Simple and easy. No software conflicts, no torturous menus... it just works. I tested the receiver range out to just over 900yds using AnnBee cloverleaf antennas Anbee® FPV 5.8Ghz Circular Polarized Clover Leaf Antenna High Gain Aerial Set w/SMA Plug . I also tested the video out connection direct a monitor and it was the same quality as the WiFI video. I am very happy with this device. Buy with confidence.
