Great laces, leaves black on hands /shrug
I've bought these laces at least 3 times. I deal with some harsh chemicals, hydrochloric acid being the worst, these do a great job of withstanding the harsh environments. The latest pair I just installed on my newest pair of boots are leaving black dye on my hands. Haven't had this before. Maybe fresh out of the coloring process or trying a new process to counteract them getting white as soon? Still seem to be the same product quality otherwise. Time will tell.

Mixed feelings at first, but durable for sure.
For context, I am an electrician who only wears his work boots. No other shoes. Needless to say, my boots are well used, but not tortured like some other trades are. They look nice and have a good color. also, they do seem to be holding up better than ones I’ve had before. HOWEVER, for the first while they are a pain to keep knotted, and the knot tends to slip over time. After a good amount of time, it kinda sorts its self out and will hold the knot as you expect, but they do have a break in period. Normally, I’m against “break in periods” but they do hold strong and still haven't started to tare. Prefer these over the Kevlar laces.

Tough as a coffin nail.
I work in the track maintenance department for the railroad and I'd usually burn through a pair of laces every 6 to 8 months. Bought a pair of these back in 23 and they are still going strong, no cuts or frays. Worth every penny and will definitely buy again for all my boots going forward.

Great laces but…..
When I finished putting the shoelaces on my shoes my hands were black. I noticed that the laces were covered with a black waxy product. It was very difficult to wash it off my hands. Then I thought if my shoes get wet the laces will stain the shoes so I washed the laces off. They were a nice gray color after that. I put beeswax on the laces to help them tighten up when I tie them. Now would I buy them again! Absolutely! These laces are so tough that I doubt if I could wear them out . Strongest laces I ever bought. Just keep in mind that when you get them wash them with a little soap and water.

A customer for life
Best laces in the world, in my opinion. The color does fade and when you first use them the color will come off on your hands (which easily washes off, thankfully). These will last long enough to transfer them to your next pair of boots.

Best boot laces ever created
I’ve had these laces for just short of 4 years and they’re still going strong! The plastic on the tips is just starting to crack but have not lost any usability. These are the most impressive laces I have ever owned. Moved them through three pairs of boots.

5 years now.
I bought a pair of these laces over 5 years ago! This is my 3rd pair of boots they have been in, and still holding strong. They just might be truly unbreakable!

They are in fact breakable
Well they are not unbreakable because now 2 years and some change later they are broken. Granted for the price they lasted some time, they are in fact breakable...
