It is expensive. And u can tell. My 8 yr old monkey/chimp stuffie collector loves this! He got it for his birthday and the first thing he said was, “whoa, it’s heavy!” It’s adorable, soft, floppy and sweet. The weight of him makes it so huggable and lovey.For reference, we have over 40 monkey stuffies, too many to count. And this one stands out as being exceptional in terms of quality and his sweet face. Also, his soft jammies do go on/off which makes it fun to share with other monkeys.

Vermont Teddy Bear is an A+++ company. I requested a refund from them after finding out that my niece already had the same teddy bear I ordered. I was issued the full refund without needing to return the item. Now I cuddle with it in my sleep.Update: Now my two-year-old daughter cannot sleep without "Baby Bear"

Bought a total of 3 monkeys, and 2 out of 3 were defective. Holes & loose threads on pajamas and uneven nostrils with lopsided head. Returning defective monkeys. Quality control seems to be an issue with this company. The monkey that isn’t defective is great! Very soft & cuddly! But still pretty expensive for a stuffed animal. Beware, you may receive a damaged or defective toy!

I sent this to my mother and she absolutely loved it! I have purchased the llama as well and I can say that they are very soft and the weighting makes it feel like you're holding a baby doll. I highly recommend it for anyone who needs a little something special.

The adorable Vermont Teddy Bear baby monkey is wearing cute pajamas with an all-over print of little monkeys. The pajamas have a Velcro closure at the throat, with some nice sewing details. Yes, the monkey will sit up without support, although it has to be coaxed a little. It arrived in a compressed plastic bag. The monkey was lumpy. One of the nostrils was flattened, the other was raised. The tag says to gently knead the monkey to fluff up the stuffing and ruffle its fur. After a minute of this, the monkey had a good round pudgy shape. Both the monkey body and the pajamas show good quality materials and workmanship.
