Works well.
Well made and works well. Very solid and I like the color (although that's a little subjective). The whistle is fine and I like the button mechanism. We'll have to see how it holds up over time but I don't anticipate any problems.

Rusted out
i have mine since April and loved it in the beginning. The color is perfect fot my kitchen and the design is cool. But after a month I noticed bad discolration and recently the bottom has rusted and it leaks all over the stove. I didn't expect it to last forever, but I was hoping for more than 4 months!

NOT pink!
Super cute kettle, but it is more of a purple than pink. Darker than fuchsia. I sent it back because it did not match my pink & green RV decor. Disappointing.

Now as to the Tea Pot which I kept because I liked the color
Okay the first product review I wrote was manly for the Tea Balls I bought. Now as to the Tea Pot which I kept because I liked the color. It is now July 25th and I have decided to give a brief rundown of this tea pot. 1. Do not tip it too far because the top falls out and you can burn yourself as I did. My husband also burned his had taking a hold of the handle to poor it. It was to hot. 2. Steam comes out of the top lid as well as the end where the water is suppose to come out. 3. Do not leave the room because if you are 12 feet away from it you will not hear the slight whistle. 4. The black cap that comes open to let the water run out can fall off because the little stud that goes though it has no stop so it just slides back and forth and will fall out after the pot has been heated up several times. Now after two full months use the pot does not whistle it mostly is a slight wheeze sound. I still like the color but as for the way it is made? It is not safe nor made to last a long time. So beware future buyers! I am afraid these simply are not safe. .

Loved it until it rusted!
I loved this tea kettle when I purchased it. Who wouldn't love a pink tea kettle? Ok maybe some men not appreciate it. Anyway the kettle heats up fast and has a loud whistle which I appreciated since I tended to turn the kettle on and go back upstairs to my office. Well after 2 months of regular use the kettle has rusted through. At first I thought it was just the outside edge of the kettle which didn't make me happy but if it was on the outside I thought maybe some surface rust. Nope. This morning I poured water into a clear glass and it was cloudy with bits of stuff floating around. I opened the lid and peered and sure enough there was a rust spot. Very disappointed. I replaced a Revere tea kettle with this one. The Revere was at least 16 years old if not older. I had to replace it because I left it on the burner (whistle had stopped working).

I bought this for my daughter who lives out of the country where they have no hot running water. Using it constantly, I can already tell it won't last for years since the stainless steel isn't very thick.
