Over the years, I hated going thru spoon after spoon of tasting the flavor of homemade dishes. These wooden spoons are a great and easy way to taste test before I feed to the family. They are wood based so I feel ok knowing they will disintegrate or can be thrown in the fire pit after using several of them. Definitely beats washing more spoons in the dishwasher!

Having a Christmas party for about 200 children. Each will be given a container of sprinkles, icing and a cookie to decorate. Needed to dish out individual pre-made portions for safety reasons. Will work well.Similar to the spoons you would get with Dixie Cups that the Ice Cream Truck person would deliver.

Needed very small spoons for 2oz cups of a pudding dish. These are tiny (which I wanted so they didn't overwhelm the small cups) but did the job. Was worried they would taste "wooden" but it was very minor (I was actively seeing if tasted wooden). The dessert I used them for was soft and held up fine for that.

I am a Jam maker and occasionally people want to sample a particular jam I have open. They work great and do not splinter at all. A friend told me about them and it has made it much easier, plus they can use it like a knife to spread on crackers
