The shelf itself is fine. Seems solid enough and holds roughly the 15lbs as claimed (maybe a little less). However the instructions are completely misleading for no reason. Quite simply, you will need to hammer in the anchors into your drywall rather than just popping them into place like the packaging describes.This really isn't a major issue since I'd be very uncomfortable with anchors that you could just pop into the wall so hammer atleast proves they're a bit sturdier. But why not include that in the instructions?Also, the holes caused by the anchors will leave marks on the wall which you will have to patch up if you ever remove the shelves. Honestly thinking it would have been better to just use anchors and install a traditional shelf.

I bought this to replace a floating shelf I already had, with the selling factor being tool free. With the instructions only being on the back of the box, this is quite difficult to put together, not to forget that the leveling tool it came with stuck to the box, and the adhesive on the strip also not being as sturdy as it looks. Clearer instructions are really needed for me to improve the rating on this item.

I’m so glad I read the reviews and picked this shelf. It really was amazingly easy to install. The level that came with it was placed crooked on the tape so I used my own level (I’m glad I double checked it’s self leveler.) Also, I don’t know if my walls are strong or I am weak but I used a hammer to push in the spikes. Other than that it was THE easiest shelf to put up and super strong. Those glass jars are heavy. I’m getting another one for another spot in my kid’s the bathroom. They are so cute!

Nice little shelf. Not very big and won't hold a lot of weight but it works great as a perch for model kits which I'm using it for.Less than ten minutes for installation by someone who is less than handy isn't bad and the included level is a godsend.Looking forward to picking up one or two more.

I wasn’t sure what to expect with this shelf in terms of sturdiness (since it does not require screws or hardware to install) - it was inexpensive enough that I figured I’d take a chance. It is such an innovative design and it is very sturdy considering the size. A pleasant surprise!

Loved the built in level. I checked it against my level for the 1st shelf then trusted it for the second. Staggered the placement in my bathroom. Sturdy and nice quality. Wish it had come lightly longer, maybe 24 "

I don’t know what I was expecting but it seems like these do way more damage to the wall than a normal floating shelf with nails would. They were pretty easy to install and hold super well. Personally I’m not too concerned about getting my security deposit back but if you are, maybe go with traditional nails.

Clamps onto drywall with “claws”. Easy to hang and attractive, but I wouldn’t put anything on it that’s too heavy.
