This is excellent at digging holes in loose soil. Go careful if there's any roots or rubble though because as soon as it locks up on a tough root, the drill swings round instead taking your wrist with it, even on a low speed setting. I tried it with an 18v and a 12v drill and the 12v was definitely safer and still worked fine. If your drill has different torque settings and you're unsure what's in the soil, start on low torque and work up if needed, using both hands on the drill and with gloves on.

I was a little dubious when I bought this but it actually works quite well. Fit it on a power drill and it will almost effortlessly bore a hole in soil provided that there are no large tree roots or similar. I used this to plant out numerous border plants this summer and found it so easy. It also cut the time taken by half. I can recommend it for lightweight gardening.

Just planted 300 saplings in my back garden. This thin is brill. Popped it into my battery drill and off I went . I drilled the wife planted. All completed in a couple of hours. If I never use it again its paid for itself 10 times over.

La compré para no perder tanto tiempo y energía haciendo hoyos en la seca y dura tierra de Almería (por lo menos en mi zona). No esperaba que funcionara tan bien porque hay muchas piedras y la tierra es muy compacta. El material es muy resistente y con un taladro de 20v hice los agujeros sin problema y muy rápido. Todo un acierto la compra. Los guantes no son muy buenos pero vienen de regalo.

Très bonne tarière. Se monte sur un mandrin de 10. L' utilisation avec une visseuse est faisable si la terre est molle, qu'on ne veut pas aller trop profond et qu'on a pas beaucoup de trous à faire. Je l'utilise sur une vieille perceuse de 800w avec réglage de vitesse au minimum sur de la terre argileuse. Si la terre est trop dure et que ça a du mal a pénétrer faites 10cm puis mettez de l'eau dans le trou et finissez le lendemain ou alors prévoyez le truc bien à l'avance et faites un tas de compost au dessus de chaque futur trou ( ça rentrera comme dans du beurre). C'est un outil assez cher mais j'en suis a plus de 50 trous donc ça va. Par contre il faut faire attention quand on le manipule au bout d'une perceuse : j'ai un peu plié l'axe entre la partie cylindrique et le manchon du mandrin ( ma faute ) du coup il y a des vibrations quand ça tourne maintenant.
