Absolutely incredible incense. Powerful, yet subtle. Reminds me of being in a zendo. I bought it at a 50% discount, so I cannot comment on the price. That said, I understand why this is expensive. It is incredibly high quality, crisp, and sophisticated. I use it with metal separator (rather than the mica plate that is normally used) because it was cheaper and more reliable. It works very well with the Shoyeido bamboo-based charcoals. They tend to burn more evenly and a little bit cooler. If you use some of the other coals, wait till they have cooled a little bit, so you dont just end up burning your incense. Overall, couldn't recommend this enough. Wish I had bought more when it was on discount!!!
