Look and work great; smaller than you'd expect
The media could not be loaded. Look fantastic, easy set up and use. Only gave 4 stars because each hexagon is smaller than the size of an adult fist.

So cool
The media could not be loaded. A great alternative from nanoleaf. So nice and easy to create your own pattern with colours you want. Default ones are cool too.In the pack you also have suggestions on forms you can create with the quantity of pannels needed . Satisfied of the purchase.

I regret my purchase
I purchases these because the Nanoleaf ones can only be used against a wall and I wanted to use these on my PC for certain notifications, i'll come back to it later.SIZE: They are obviously very very small, therefore considering the high price, that's a very expensive small kit of lights.COLOURS: The colours are nice, they can be very very bright, which is good in a way. You can slide the brightness you want within the app.PRACTICALITY: The app is a pure let down! It's a nightmare to understand exactly how it works and to get your desired effects. We're also supposed to schedule the lights (in terms of colour changing or time of the day), but again, it's not intuitive at all, very difficult and complicated to set up.GOOGLE ASSISTANT/ALEXA: That's exactly why I bought these lights, because they are compatible with Google Assistant and Alexa. What I wanted to do, is to be notified through these lights when someone rings my Ring Bell. However, in Google or Alexa, you can only choose a static colour, nothing more is available and the worst, is that, if you build an automation rule, it doesn't put your light in the previous state (rainbow dynamic effect for instance) after automatically changing colours! Therefore it's useless. Very disappointed.IFTTT: Well, that's the biggest disappointment. These are not compatible with IFTTT.MATERIAL: The base and also the hexagons are very plastiky and feel cheap. The base is ugly as well.CONCLUSION: I like the colours, the brightness, I hate the Android app and the uselessness of the Google Assistant and Alexa compatibility.

Great configurable smart lighting
This was a present for someone who loves lights. She has different lights throughout the house, solar lights in the garden, electric flicker candles, strings of LEDs. You get the idea. So this present had to be something special. The Cololight did not disappoint. It has incredible colour ranges and brightness as well as a good number of built in sequences. She found it fun to put together and reconfigures it to ring the changes. The Cololight works well with Alexa and Google Home. She’s called it “birthday” so she says “Alexa turn on birthday” and on it comes. The app on her iPhone is easy to use and everything installed really easily. If you have a good friend who likes beautiful coloured smart lights then I really recommend these as a present. My friend was thrilled to receive this.

A bit fiddly but look good once put together and connected
I bought these as a cheaper option to Nanoleaf lights. However, I don't think they can be compared. The hexagons in these lights are smaller and thicker than the Nanoleaf panels. They work well on their base as a table lamp, but I'm not sure how they would look on the wal, being that they are thicker. You would also need a lot more than the 6 hexagons that come in this set to create a nice shape on a wall, whereas I believe the 9 panels that come with a base pack in Nanoleaf would almost be sufficient to have build a pleasing pattern. I've already bought 3 extra hexagons because I thought the 6 in the base pack were too few even for a table lamp.My other complaint is around the set-up. They connected right away when I took them out of the box and plugged them in, but then later they seemed to have lost the connection with the app and it took me a long time to convince them to join the same wifi network they had connected to the first time with no issue. I almost gave up.They do look nice and have few patterns included in the app, with the ability to create your own patterns either at the individual LED level or the hexagon level. I suspect one could spend a lot of time creating a pattern.I am pleased with my purchase and will definitely use them and enjoy them, but I will probably look again at the Nanoleaf for my wall idea.

Looks stunning! A bit pricey though for what it is.
This thing looks gorgeous & helps create a nice ambient space to work or relax. It's bright too with some really nice patterns & customisation.A few issues though...The hole in the stone base isn't evenly cut & the control unit doesn't sit in it properly. It actually feels like under the weight of the tiles the stone base may damage the control unit over time. I'm returning mine & swapping it for the plastic based version for this reason. The wifi has been intermittently disconnecting although I'm putting this down to the ill-fitting stone base which seems to activate the touch sensor with the slightest movement & resets the wifi. When this happens, it starts flashing blue & won't stop until the power is reset. The manual is riddled with typo's & poor English which doesn't reflect the premium price tag & makes it feel like a cheap ripoff of other more premium alternatives.I've ordered two of the plastic based versions, also the wall mounts as I love the product & would like to expand it over the coming months with additional tiles to form a nice design in my office space. It produces fantastic light patterns, gets very bright & adds a nice ambient feel to the room. They either need to improve the build quality (mainly the fit of that that stone base), tidy up the spelling & grammar mistakes or reduce the price. They're trying to market this as a premium product but it really isn't. You'll find re-brands of the same device which isn't a good sign at this price point.
