Best insoles I've used yet. I have incredibly flat feet which caused over-pronation in my legs. Whenever I walk for long distances, my knees and feet would hurt. However, since I've got these, I could walk for incredibly long distances without pain. I put these in my hiking boots and went on a backpacking trip and hiked 40 miles easily.The hard plastic for the arch is the deciding factor for buying these insoles. It has a high arch and will not get squished down over time like the other insoles. I've used it for half a year now and the arch has not been squished down at all.The only drawback for these insoles is its usability depends on the shoe it's put in. If the original sole cannot be replaced with this one or if it is a perfect fit originally, then this insole will be useless. If the shoe is bigger, then this will work perfectly. It stopped my feet from sliding around in my hiking boots too, saving my toes when hiking downhill.TLDR; great product, solves the flat foot and overpronation problem, lasts a long time. Very thick so bad for perfectly fitting shoes. Use with bigger shoes or if the original sole can be removed.

I have several pairs of orthoheel sandals that help me survive my plantar fasciitis symptoms. These were recommended by my podiatrist. He also recommended deep tissue massage of my foot (ow!) and calf which has really made a difference. Bodyworker further educated me by telling me it's really a tight right hip that is pulling the muscles taut all the way down my leg with the resulting heel pain. It's painful bodywork but in very little time I am seeing significant improvement after years of trying to cope with foot agony, especially first thing in the morning.I've got quite a collection of products while battling this problem. These inserts (remove your shoe inserts and anchor these with double stick tape) offer real arch support and are a quality product. Doctor says to avoid any shoe that easily bends in the center - people with plantar need a firm middle to their shoes and should never go barefoot. Even though flip-flop sandals are usually a no-no (gripping the sandal with your toes can aggravate foot issues), if you pay attention and keep your feet relaxed in the vionic sandals they are a good solution around the house and some of them are very attractive. Good luck in your recovery, these and rolling a juice sized can filled with ice will give you relief!!!

Great support! I have bouts of plantar fasciitis, as well as fallen arches, and these inserts are a gift from above. I first discovered Orthaheel from a TV shopping channel and have loved my slippers so much. I was beyond thrilled to find out the inserts were available separately. Best price was on Amazon, and prime shipping was a plus. These inserts give me the very necessary support I need. They are comfortable and easy to cut to fit in your shoe, boot or sneaker. For people who have not used orthotics before, there will be an adjustment period, but after that time you will see a difference in the way you feel - your feet, ankles, legs, back, and hips will thank you. Highly recommended!

I waited a few weeks before leaving a review to give these inserts a chance, but really by day 2 I felt relief! You wouldn't think it when you see them, but these have been a life saver. They aren't soft and cushioned, but rather stiff. They haven't cured my painful heels 100% but they are much more bearable after a long day and I can wear my shoes comfortably all day. I workout 5-6 days a week squatting, weight training, biking, zumba, and HIIT and I'm no longer hobbling around and in tears at night and when I wake up. With foot stretches, changing the workout load I'm putting on my feet, and these inserts, I'm feeling a huge difference. Before these inserts, no combination of attempting to reduce the pain in my feet was working. I didn't want to spring for the most expensive inserts right away so I purchased these as a middle ground from super expensive to the useless store inserts I've purchased. Excellent value and less expensive than buying yet another pair of new shoes to resolve this issue.

Very disappointed. I have a bunion on my right foot and I have several Vionic shoes so I thought these inserts would be wonderful. Wrong. These inserts have great heal and arch support but no ball of your foot support. If your shoe has no forward foot support do not get these. My bunion killed me when I use these. Plus they squeak very loudly.

These inserts have made a major difference for my posture and overall health. I have dealt with pronated ankles my entire life and had always thought the only fix was prescription orthotics, until I tried these insoles. This is my second pair and the quality is consistent. My first pair was still going strong in my boots after one year and they're now just as effective in my running shoes. The men/women size large slides in easily to my Taos Crave boots in size 42/11 without sacrificing any room. The active pair is more flexible and therefore more comfortable than the other versions, in my personal experience. I have less pain in general since using these insoles and I see myself buying a pair for every pair of shose that I own in the future. I would recommend these to anyone who deals with overpronation, as well as to those who gets pain in their knees or lower backs, athletes and people constantly on their feet. Excellent product.

Tried these insoles to relieve heel pain in left heel. I have been limping around for two months with plantar fasciitis. They fit into my shoes perfectly. The contours created by the arch and heel cup took some getting used to. This is not a squishy, gel insert like you find at the grocery store. It's a bit stiff but It is engineered to reposition your stance. When I Tried it inside my winter boots I could immediately feel my left foot resisting the change ( that's the heel that gives me pain) but my right heel adjusted right away, and in fact it felt comfortable. I wore them for several hours for four days in a row as suggested. By the end of day three I put them in my slippers to wear all day indoors because my left heel was feeling so much better! I am very happy with this insole and will purchase more.
