Value for money
I use the plastic insert’s to stop the pencils Rowling around the slanted desk.Also you can keep the pencils you are currently using handy and secure.

Amazing little box.
I love these boxes. there are 3 trays that hold my pencils that came in cardboard sleeves. I actually bought a second box as a travel drawing box. I took out the top tray and have my fancy water color pencils in the bottom tray and my fine art drawing pencils on the second tray. I place my erasers, pencil sharpener, etc on top of the 2nd tray and I am all set for easy access to my supplies when I travel. Great buy and thinking of buying a 3rd box.

the tin itself is ok but I have taken one star off because of the cheap plastic inserts.

Faber Castell pencil tin
This tin holds 36 pencils.I bought it for my growing Faber Castell pencils. There is a valid reason I have given 3 stars and that is the inside of the case.The inside has 3 plastic trays each holding 12 pencils. Nothing wrong with that. The problem that I have is getting the pencils out of the tin, and lifting the trays out. On each side of the tray is an indentation to help you lift the trays out. The trouble is it is very fiddly. In the process of getting the trays out invariable, you move some pencils from their location. THAT BIT WAS THE DOWNFALL OF THE TIN FOR ME. i THOUGHT THE DESIGN BEEN gERMAN WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER. oTHERWISE, IT HOLDS THE PENCILS SECURLY AND THEY FIT WELL.

Very flimsy
Very disappointing….Whilst this was the perfect size the tin is very flimsy with cheap plastic inserts… this was been returned and I have purchased the derwent tin (x2) which is far better quality with a metal insert

Use only Faber Castell classic colouring pencils or similar shape and width
best to insert only Faber Castell classic colouring pencils or similar width if storing all pencils on 3 trays otherwise If other types like Faber Castell polychromos are inserted and all 3 trays are filled then tin lid will not close

Metal Tin Pencil Case.
I really like how easy I can put all of my Faber Castle polychromos pencils in this tin. I will be putting more pencils in this tin very soon.From Catrin Lawn.
