Coleman Stadium Seat

I’ve had a Sierra chair like this for over 30 years. It traveled to many destinations with me. Alas, it is finally too tattered to be seen any more. To replace it, I ordered this Columbia chair. I was concerned at first because it’s more narrow than the old one. That concern evaporated after using it a few times. It’s very comfortable, well made and I love the bright blue color. I use it mostly for sitting and watching TV. It supports my back beautifully whether I’m reading, watching TV, traveling, camping or even visiting others. The only thing I’m not crazy about is the shoulder strap. The strap is fine for carrying but not so much for sitting. I haven’t figured out how to tuck it away. That said, I haven’t cut it off because it’s great for carrying when your hands are full. In short, I love the chair. It’s worth much more than its price for the comfort it provides in hotels, in rentals and in my own home.

Recently attending the F1 week-end in Montreal, I had grown tired of the little cushions I'd been using for the past several years. A pain to carry and they slide around each other. So I had seriously considered spending $100 on one of the premium stadium seat type chairs with all the metal framing, but I knew it would be a massive pain because of the weight.So I figure why not try the $20 Coleman option, and if it really sucks then just return it due to inadeqaute performance quality and try the more expensive one next year! Well, these aren't being returned. I am 210 lbs and let me tell you, these do actually take my weight once I tighted the side straps so the back doesn't have slack, and I can lean backwards into it and it takes my weight and supports me.Now, sitting at a sporting event for 6 hours on three consecutive days in a bleacher when you're 6'1', well that's going to cause some cramps no matter what you're sitting in because it's tight space there, believe you me. But if you ahve any idea how much your butt is gonna hurt from three days in bleacher seating, you know you're gonna at least try to protect those cheeks. This does the trick! It's not like sititng in a LaZBoy but I was super impressed by the cushion's firmess, it was still firm after six hours and wasn't losing its shape.So yes, for now I've definitely found a new seat for Formula One.

When I was in high school (20 years ago) a teacher brought one of these with her to a school camp, and we all fought to get a turn sitting in it... I never forgot how comfy it was!So I bought one... great for the beach, takes up no room in the car, and sometimes I strap it on to my Vespa. SO good.

I needed a backrest when I sit down for yoga. I tried this product for such purpose but it's more useful as a stadium seat rather more.The product is built okay. Side scrapes are bit difficult to adjust parallel.
