Easy to clean, only con is there’s no straps to secure over mattress meaning that it can sometimes get folded when putting on the sheet. Wouldn’t buy again, wluld look at cheaper brands

if you don’t sure to need it — you need it. Especially if you baby sleep with you on a bed. Very soft mat and easy to clean

We originally bought a different mattress protector for our snuzpod 3 mattress which had elasticated edges as had read reviews that this is just a flat layer with nothing to secure it down. When using the elasticated edge protector and a sheet the edges of the mattress were becoming very curled up due to the strain from the edging of the protector and the sheet. We therefore bought this when it was discounted despite initial trepidation in view of mixed reviews. As long as it’s used with an elasticated sheet it stays in place and our mattress is much less curled up at the edges now. We use the snuzpod 3 mattress sheets. We’ve had some big leakages which have marked the top of the protector but nothing’s gone through to the mattress. These stains have also washed off easily.

We were using a cheaper, fitted waterproof protector but as the mattress is so thin it made it curl and lift. As this sits on top of the mattress it doesn't cause the same issues. However, like the other reviewers point out it's tricky to get it to stay in place when putting a new sheet one. Snuz a thin piece of elastic across each corner would have been good to keep it in place, whilst not curling the mattress. I fitted some Velcro hooks on each corner which grip onto the mattress, making it easier to put a sheet on. Though this solution is probably going to damage the mattress fabric a little.That said I much prefer it to the fitted sheet we were using and I'm glad I gave it ago.

Would be better if it was a fitted sheet, covering the sides of mattress.
