Five Stars
Love this product. The star pattern of the light looks great.

Not bright enough
Although these lights look expensive and they feel expensive, they do not emit enough light given how far solar tech has come. The star style light reflection that the pic shows is annoying at first but you realize that it's a plus later because you have more area lit in the end with this feature. If they were brighter I'd give them a five. There is nothing else wrong with them, just to expect a lot of light coming off of them.

Great solar lights, sturdy bright & well constructed...
These lights have been a stock item at Costco for over a year and have recently been discontinued. That said, I wasnt originally aware of the brand Amazon but I was hooked w/ the first set I bought in Costco (was on special for $19.99 vs 29.99). I've since purchased 5 sets of these to completely outfit the borders of my house and property. Bottom line: Bright "striated" pattern, which in my view looks great surrounding my flowerbeds and hardscaping (picture coming soon) & will do the same for you. Added benefit is these babies are of good quality, well built of nice bronze colored aluminum and all glass canopy that houses the LED vs the crappy plastic ones sold at your Walmart style retail places. You'll get 8 lamps @ about 6-8 lumens of brightness each w/ a color scheme of what I'd describe as soft white (4-5000K). These wont be whiter or "bluer" in color. Rechargeable NiCads are included and arrive precharged so you'll get lighting the first night of installation, however the best luminosity is achieved after 24-36 hrs of the lamps sitting outdoors. For dryer claylike soil climates: Make sure you use a rubber mallet to drive the stake into any soil that these cant completely penetrate to ground level. I'd even saturate the area with water beforehand. I tried forcing one down with my weight that wouldn't go and ended up snapping the aluminum post.Great solar lamps for the price, going strong for 5 months now. I'd be surprised if they dissapoint any home decor.
