Can't say it's a fake one. But it is sure not same packing nor same quality.
cable was thinner than one bought from Gitex few years back. also, the three nopes (laptop pieces) was not packed properly same as the (original) one bought from Gitex.can't say it's a fake one. But it is sure not same quality.

Make sure you get the right lock for your Kensington slot!
It's not for security it's a deterrent and it will most likely not work. On top of that Kensington does not have any sort of standardization so this might not work at all.
