Handy if in a pinch, test on an unimportant board till you get it get to it
The media could not be loaded. So it has a pin to set the upper/lower spot.It is NOT Anchorage, meaning you flip it, it flops out and you are scrambling to find it on floor. But you can see through its holes, so realigning it won't be a problem...But the pin REALLY needs to lock into place. You need to use clamps to hold it down, I used some har or freight ones so that was fine.Depth setting, it uses a ring which fits along the shaft of the bit, meaning it flops in and out.REALLY wish there was a way to lock that in place so you dont scratch your door when mounting. You could prolly use a ru ber band to hold it up while mounting it to the door, but you are gambling with that, I know it is the back of the door, but when you are supposed to be a pro, it is always the darker o especially that whine over a scratch they will never see to get couple hundred knocked off the price of their job.DrILLING, omg this thing wobbles in side the shaft. And they don't give e yo any depth at all.Had it on MAX depth, and still don't think it was a 32nd of an inch to the edge.If you pApply a little downward pressure, you can get it as deep as possible, and still have some wood on the edge of the door.Otherwise you will blow thru the side and ruin your project. You can see the pin holes where they give 3 or 4" from top or bottom, but like I say you have to turn it upside down to keep from scratching while you hold it all together to clamp it, I do not have the pin to show. They could really send two, it would be better.Had an entirely clean kitchen, it fell out once, swept the entire thing, NOWHERE to be found, great bulls humping huge STEAMING piles of dung...Could use a couple locking features for the bit, and to clamps this to a 3/4" board, and the pin could at least have a groove in it with a plastic button to catch and hold ti in, but ..It still works for the one cabinet door I had to make.Would be nice if they had a greater range in the depth of the hole, so you don't blow out all the wood on accident. The max setting just isn't enuf, if I have to use it again, I will probably sand the guides down a bit and hotglue them.On a side note the drilling piece does twist off, so you don't have to worry AS MUCH about scratching, so pull the drilling thing OFF, mount the device, remove your pin (it will fall out anyway) tilt it upside down a bit and mount your drilling section with a twist, but mount your drill to it first, unless you are an octupai

Works how it should.
Honestly I was a little nervous about some comments saying that the product melting out. Never happened! I didn't even use the press to hold it in place. I converted all of my cabinet doors to soft close a nice upgrade

Worked for one use, but not well.
I didn't expect much from this kit, but I wish it would have been better. The plastic jig was sloppy and inaccurate, and none of the little tools actually fit into the built-in holders on the jig. Really cheap build quality that shows in your installation.I would recommend finding a different brand jig unless you want to barely make it through one install while being mad the entire time. The only upside is that it is very inexpensive I guess.

Use the jig with included drill bit I drilled through a melamine cabinet door
This kit offered everything I needed to drill two 35mm holes for a cabinet hinged door. This was my first time to ever drill cabinet holes so it was a learning experience to get the drill bit the correct distance from the edge of the cabinet door. The drill bit was sharp enough to drill through melamine. There were more expensive kits, but I didn't need the extra features.

It works after quite a bit of brainstorming
It will get the job done, once you figure out how to set it for your desired use. The instruction paper is seriously lacking details, and most is in another language. This device wouldn't fit my cabinet doors correctly. So, we had to do extra measuring to get it right. Then press hard for the right depth.

Great
After a few minutes I managed to figure out how to set it for my hinges. Works great.

This tool is NOT as advertised
There are multiple things wrong with this tool.1. The instructions consist of small pictures on the side of the box that you cannot read clearly, and do not tell you much.2. The hinges I purchased called for a 21.5 mm offset to the hole center, and the largest offset (6) only gave me 18 mm to the center of the hole. Had I not tried the tool on a piece of scrap wood, I would have ruined my cabinet door! The 3 offset holes in the jig do not have a setting for a 45mm hinge spacing, so you have to set the hinge into the door, level it vertically, and mark the holes so you can drill them.3. There are no instructions on how to set the depth of the drill bit so you do not drill through the door! I had to figure out how to set the stop on the drill using a metric ruler, after I had drilled through my test wood the first time.4. I should have realized that the price for this tool should have told me that it is not suitable for drilling door hinges, because in this case, you really got what you paid for! I highly recommend that you do good research and purchase a tool that will do the job accurately.

Good quality
It's good quality product, I wish they would have given more options, like installing door handles etc.
