I would buy it again without reservation, but some improvements would be nice.
Pros: automatically makes ristretto, espresso, lungo, lattes, cappuccinos, or just steamed milk. Very easy to clean. Easy to use once you get used to it. Nespresso quality beverages.Cons: drink icons aren’t all that obvious/intuitive, so at first I had to look at the instructions every time to make sure I was pushing the right one. Tray for discarded pods is somewhat small, so needs to be emptied more often than I’d like. If there’s any water at all, it will start to make your drink even if there’s not enough to finish, and there’s no way to pause process. Important to check water level frequently to avoid this. It seems incredibly silly to me that you have to push a separate “on” button to turn it on. Seems that it could be programmed to turn on at the touch of any of the other buttons, rather than a separate one. Probably the biggest con: it’s kind of easy to forget to lift the milk spout from it’s storage position of flush with the milk reservoir to a level that will aim the milk into your cup. A few times since purchase, I’ve looked over to see hot milk shooting straight down and running all over the side of my machine and counter. There should be a sensor to catch this, or some visual reminder or something.

The Descaling Pipe door can be opened!
The Descaling Pipe is under the milk drippan. If you lift up the grill, there is a drawing in the plastic that shows the door opening in the front. Grip the plastic lip on both sides and pull forward until it pivots open (hinged at bottom). Mine did not seem like it was meant to open and I thought it would break but it opened.I have never seen the Cappuccino button shine orange, to indicate that it needs descaling. But the orange light started blinking a while ago and I have never figured out how to turn it off. I descale a few times a year and it works great.

I owned the Latissima Plus (two of them) and sold them when I moved. I tried one of the cheaper brands (Gourmia) and it was terrible. So went back to Latissima and decided to upgrade from the plus to the touch. It works well but is a little bit of a pain to clean (like the plus). In the end I didn't want to spend the extra cash for the Pro, so this one does the trick. Easy to use, good foam and relatively quick and quiet.

Overall money saver
I'll admit - I'm a Starbucks junkie. I worked there for 3 years, and during that time got completely hooked on their lattes. This, however, has changed the game for me. Sometimes I'm feeling lazy and don't want to leave the house to get a coffee, and now I can make a Starbucks quality latte from my own kitchen! I bought some torani syrups and now I'm actually saving money not getting a $6 coffee every day.

Only way to make a good cup of coffee is to use 3 pods
My wife bought this to replace a Keurig machine that we had replaced because of malfunctions. The machine is well built, but after 3 weeks of use I give it 2 stars. For one thing, the pods hold about 1 teaspoon of coffee. Logically if you think about it, how could you possibly get a shot of espresso from one teaspoon. If you try to make an Americano, you get about a quarter of a cup of coffee. Same is true with any of the espresso drinks. We even bought refillable pods using our own coffee. Same result. Only way to make a good cup of coffee is to use 3 pods, which is time consuming and not cost effective at $.65 to $.70 per pod. Not sure why there are so many good reviews on this product. I don't get it!
