Nice chair
I've had this chair for months now and it is comfortable and holding up as you would expect. Nothing to say bad about this chair yet!

Nice chair
When the product arrived I was a bit disappointed, the box was beaten and battered, ripped and shredded and covered with tape to hold it together. However all the pieces were accounted for and assembly went easily and swiftly. The chair itself is very comfortable for a guy my size, 6'4" and 350 lbs. So far I'm a very satisfied customer.Time will tell for how long.Update July 2020:It's still comfortable. It has sunken(settled) a bit but I compensated with a folded towel.

A very sturdy, comfortable, and nicely finished big and tall desk chair definitely worth considering.
I thought I had already reviewed this chair, but when I came back to update it, I discovered that I was wrong.I am NOT a small person - I'm over 6' tall and weigh a lot more than I should (used to be a competitive weight lifter and never stopped eating ... sigh). So at 290lbs I give this chair a good workout.I've been using it for over 18 months now, and it is holding up beautifully. Yes you can tell that someone sits in it regularly - but then my work day (home office) is typically 07:00-19:00 or later, so that's reasonable. The cushions and frame are in essentially almost new condition, and it has given me no problems. Also it is comfortable enough that I don't find myself looking for other chairs on line ...PRO's:The height is very adjustable and it's on the tall side. My desk has a top at about 34" and the chair matches it whether I want to set up tall OR let the chair down to slide it up under the desk on those rare occasions when I'm awake and not sitting in it.The gas cylinder is still working perfectly (I've had them go out at any age from 9-months up, so I'm pleased that it doesn't yet seem to slip at all). The adjustments (height, tilt, lumbar support) are all easy to adjust and stay adjusted once set.My wife actually likes the way it looks (when you have a shared home office, that can be an issue if your "partner" does NOT like it).The casters (wheels) are very good quality and don't give me problems rolling across the computer room floor which as hardwood, floor protectors, and an oriental carpet with which to contend. (It doesn't like the 1/2" inch jump to get up onto the carpet, but I added a home-made ramp (a short wedge) which lets it get up onto the carpet if I back up far enough to go onto the capet. The finish is holding up nicely.CONs:There aren't many to be honest and they're mostly nit-picking.The lowest height adjustment may be too high for shorter desks (not a problem to me, but it might be for you).(This one is just nit picking ...) At this cost, I would like to have three "features" it doesn't have (but which I think it should). There is no "seat" front-to-back adjustability. Other big&tall chairs have that feature and I loved it on my previous chair. AND ...The angle of the seat relative to the back is not adjustable. Again other big&tall chairs have that feature and I loved it on my previous chair.OTOH that is my "previous" chair because the mechanism which connects the back to the seat failed. That might be connected to why such features are not available on this chair. The third "missing" feature is the tilt of the back of the chair. When I'm on a really pointless, never-ending a la Dilbert than the PHB meeting, I used to recline my old chair's back and relax for the duration of the pointless jabber. This chair doesn't tilt that far back and I miss the capability. As I said above, this item is just nit-picking and probably won't apply to you.I would definitely recommend this chair to anyone over 6' tall and/or over 250 lbs. My brother (6'5") finds it quite comforable and he's right at its weight limit - and the chair doesn't seem to mind (complain/fail/run screaming form the room) when he sits in it.FWIW I'd also buy it again. As I said, definitely recommendedT

Most comfortable office chair I have owned
I am a relatively old man of 60, and have been a PC gamer since I was 18.... so for over 40 years I have been sitting at a desk on a chair for 6+ hours a day, .... I have had dozens of chairs in that time, from cheap folding chairs to expensive executive chairs....Recently I was in need to buy a office chair because my current chair's padding had become so flat that it was no longer comfortable to sit on, as I currently am a web designer and programmer and I am a big man, so I need a chair designed for Big and Tall users.I starting searching for office chairs and have found that the biggest percentage of chairs currently on the market are the 'gaming' chairs.... so I looked at them quite extensively. some of the gaming chairs have a ton of bells and whistles, and some are built for Big and Tall users. The gaming chairs intrigued me, but then I remembered that I am now considered an old man with arthritis in my lower back, so I changed my focus to comfort and stability versus gaming. That's when I found this Serta Big and Tall Executive Office Chair with Wood Accents Adjustable High Back Ergonomic Lumbar Support, Bonded Leather, 30.5D x 27.25W x 47H in, Chestnut Brown.I know the name Serta is synonymous with comfortable beds and mattresses, so I purchased this chair. When the chair arrived, I immediately opened the box and verified that everything that shows in the contents list was accounted for, and I began the procedure to put the chair together. The instructions were very straightforward and easy to follow, and it only took me an hour or so to complete the build of the chair. It was then that I sat down on the chair for the first time.... and I can honestly tell you that this is the most comfortable chair I have sat in, out of all the chairs I have owned. I am sure that there may quite well be more comfortable chairs on the market, but for the price of this chair, it is well worth it.The chair includes an adjustable lumbar support knob, and it really helps to lower the pain in my back during long hours at my desk. I have used the chair for about a month now, so I will add-on to this review in a few months to update as to the longevity of the chair. Everytime I sit down at my desk, my back and bottom thanks me for getting such a comfortable and sturdy chair.
