Love the fact it quickly converts from a nice desktop magnifier for hands free use to a handheld unit and vice versa with just a couple of clicks of the handle. Nice and stable for hands free easy to adjus. Two brightness levels from the LEDs. Can be run from 2 batteries.Led output more than adequate for most tasks. Supplied usb power lead (No mains adapter included) is great for longer use of the light. Good item for the price.

Excellent product for what I needed it for, however when folding it towards myself to read something, it topples over, but a book to weigh t the rest part down worked fine

The base could, perhaps, be a little heavier and therefore the item a bit more stable but it is a small point. Crystal clear lens and plenty of space between it and the base to work with. For the price it does exactly what I needed it for.

Says all I need in the title! Magnifier works ok. LEDs light when plugged in, so ok I suppose. Also - a bit smaller than expected.

I purchased this device for a visually impaired person, who is yet to try it. Though my overall impression is that this is a good quality product, the exposed electrical connection is felt vulnerable (it is likely to fail after a number of folding and unfolding cycles), and the main area magnification seems to be not as high as declared in the product description, i.e. it is less than 5. However, considering the price paid (£9.99 incl. delivery), any customer will be happy with this product, considering that the current price (as of today, the 12th of August 2012) has been reduced by the seller to £7.99 (incl. delivery).
