Mondo Bag Fun Pack Pattern and Printed interfacing, Multi, Multicolor

I signed up for a class to make this tote and needed the pattern and accompanying iron-on. sheet to make it. I easily could have made it without taking the class. The instructions are quite clear. But the class was fun and the teacher only charged $15 to help us through it all. I came home with a finished bag! Thank goodness because I did not need another project that needed finishing. I love it so much that I am in the process of making one for a good friend.

I'd read that the instructions were confusing so I did some research before buying, watching youtube videos and reading a few blogs. I figured after that I could get this bag constructed even with no instructions. It went together very nicely and was so fun to make I'm planning on making them for Christmas presents this year for family. Only flaw I found with the directions was they didn't tell you to do the lining as a mirror image of the outer bag so the corners would line up properly.

Makes a great looking bag easy. A sewer friend had made a few of these bags which I simply fell in love with. The gridded paper makes quilting fool-proof. I didn't give 5 stars simply because the bag assumes you know how to do the lining (which I didn't). Some internet searches solved my problem. Note, the maker has a great YouTube video which walks thru everything but that step. Still, for the finished product, I highly recommend.

I love this bag, it was so much fun to make. I have read several reviews and see where people talk about the lining instructions not being good or how you have to make a mirror image of the outside of the bag, I didn't find either of these to be the case. I simply make the bag, following the instructions as written and didn't have any problems. I am going to order more interfacing and make more of these really fun bags.

It is a great pattern that helps you easily made a large bag. The pattern is good for knowledgeable sewers. It takes some visualization to sew the correct sides together.

This bag is great, holds all I need to take to a quilt class . Going to make a couple more to just have in the car for shopping

A little tricky but if you watch the video it helps a lot. The printed interfacing makes this so easy to have perfect squares.

Made both the Mondo and Midi Bags and I love them. Having the printed interfacing makes it easy to sew, but putting it together was a little confusing, so I watched a video, then took pictures of each step and it was much easier.
