This is a crotch cut bowl (intersection of branches) with some nice curly grain and knots. It comes from a tree in my back yard that was damaged and had to be taken out. This bowl stands 2.75 inches tall and is 5.5 inches across. A simple and elegant form. Turned thin and highly polished, it is a delight to see and to touch. Danish oil finish.
