I got this brush a few days ago and have used it several times, and it is already my favorite brush I've ever owned. The bristles gently massage my scalp and make it so enjoyable to brush my hair. I have a super thick head of almost waist length loosely wavy hair, and this brush makes it feel so soft and easily managed. It makes brushing my hair feel luxurious, and I love it. The quality of craftsmanship is wonderful. The wood is super smooth, the butterfly on the back is beautiful, and the cushion and bristles are perfectly pliant. It comes with care instructions for cleaning it. While I believe this brush will last me a very long time, I plan on buying a couple more soon to tuck away for future use, should I become unfortunate enough to need a replacement sometime down the line. This is it. I've found my perfect brush.:)Also, some negative reviews mention a missing bristle. There is a hole in the cushion for air. It's not a hole from a missing bristle. Every paddle style brush has to have an air hole in order to function properly.

I like that this brush is made of wood. Feels nice while holding. The bristles are firm enough to give the head a nice massage feeling while brushing, which is super relaxing. Bristles also seem sturdily in place and doesn’t poke back into the brush. This was a problem with my last hair brush. I also like that my hair doesn’t get caught on the bristles and leaves my hair feeling more smooth and a lot less staticky.

My two girls and myself all have long-ish hair … my oldest has thick, wavy tailbone length hair and a very sensitive scalp. I’ve looked at this brush for a very long time and finally bought it and an Olivia Garden bamboo paddle brush at the same time. I previously had an Olivia Garden brush that lasted about 10 years until the pegs started coming out.I brushed my oldest’s hair tonight to put it up in a bun. I started with the OG but as she yelped in pain I switched to this brush. The OG is a nice brush, yet there was no comparison!!!The pegs are straight, which makes it easy to back out if you hit a tangle that needs a gentler approach. It also makes it very easy to clean, and with no trapped fuzz!The material of the pad overlaps the pegs, there is no gap to trap hairs (the OG tends to gap and can catch hair at the base of the pegs).The wood produces no static like plastic does.After putting my oldest’s hair up, my younger daughter needed help with some neglected tangles in her own shoulder length hair. Again, this beautiful brush wins hands down.The handle is smooth and unbelievably ergonomic (at least for my hands). It has a subtle three-dimensional shape rather than a rounded flat shape like most brushes.It isn’t cheap … I know. It sat on my wish list for a long time. But after seeing/feeling the brush in use my husband encouraged me not to feel guilty about buying two more so we each have one.

I'm absolutely blown away!! This is by far the best brush I've ever used! Praise be to God that I found this brush. I have thin hair, but a lot of it, and it's long. It made my hair so smooth and gave it tons of volume!! I've never had a brush make my hair look so good!! I love it so much that I'm buying one for my son and daughter, that have long hair aswell. I'm also buying another one to go in my purse. Oh and it's gorgeous!!

Update: I contacted the seller and they were kind enough to issue a refund. I didn’t have my packaging any more or I would have gone through Amazon. I’m going to reorder and try another brush because I really did like it and I think I just got a defective one. Awesome customer service.I was really excited to get this. Thought spending a little more wood pay off and I could have a brush that lasts a long time and is good quality. And it did feel like that at first. But I’ve had the brush for 2 weeks now, loved using feels great on scalp and is really gentle on hair for a wood brush but one of the pins is split in half now some how. So now it grabs and breaks my hair. I’m really bummed as I’ve taken good care of it and been gentle so it must of just been the brush. I could try and take the broken pin out I guess but I’m scared of damaging the brush further.
