Lynyrd Skynyrd: Live From Freedom Hall

For those of you who are Skynryd fans, this live DVD just about sums up how good the band is and has been for many years. Johnny Van Zant is the only one who could have honored his brothers voice by performing the songs as they should be performed. Unfortunately, they lost two band members since this DVD. But I totally believe that the immense power of Lynryd Skynryd will continue to rise above and perform their songs as only they could do. A+++ DVD, as well as the "Vicious Cycle" DVD.

I love this DVD. The sound and images are of high quality. Seeing Lynyrd Skynyrd perform in Jackson Hole, Wyoming was one of the best concerts that I ever attended. This DVD lets me relive the experience. I have great fun listening to this DVD while doing housework. It puts a smile on my face and a spring in my step.

I bought this one coupled with the Vicious Cycle Tour. I much rather watch Vicious Cycle Tour when I get in the Skynyrd mood! But it's okay. I just prefer the other one over this.

No issues with sound or video quality. A great dvd that is entertaining and fun. The band has endured quite a lot, and they put on an awesome show. You know what to expect, and you get exactly that with this DVD: Nothing flashy, no gimmicks, just straight ahead southern rock. Overall, a great show, and I highly recommend.

Lynyrd Skynyrd - Live From Freedom Hall (DVD) Great performance by the band on Rowdy Frynyds Tour from Freedom Hall in Kentucky. If your fan, its a must have since Billy Powell & Evan Evans died of a heart attack and cancer months later. "Fly On Freebirds". Very nice intro speech by Ricky, Johnny, & Gary too!!

This is a nice sampling of Skynyrd. The guitar playing is fantastic. All the classic tunes are here with nice tributes to past members of the band. There have been more changes since this recording but the band is still on the road with a loyal following.

excellent concert, my favorite drummer, Michael Cartellone (Damn Yankees) sits in the back giving every song it's foundation. the video is super, awesome quality, views from every angle. shots of the crowd make me jealous I'm not in the front row. you won't regret adding this to your collection.

Although the concert was awesome, and I have all the respect for the band. I had hoped that this dvd was as great as the concert itself was when it was shown on HD Net. Unfortunately the video quality was a huge let down. I was hoping for the same quality and clarity that it had when I first saw it. This was an HD Net production, I guess I shouldn't have assumed it would be the same show that's stuck on my DVR which is fantastic no matter how many times I've seen it.

This is a CD and DVD combo of a 2007 concert in Louisville, Kentucky; with guitarist Gary Rossington. It has all their big hits; Simple Man, Tuesday's Gone, Free Bird, Sweet Home Amabama, Call me the Breeze, Tuesday's Gone, etc.

I have 5 DVDs of Lynyrd Skynyrd and I would say this one is the best. I saw them in 2010 and again in 2011. They put on a great show. This one did not have a lot of reviews (as it is relatively new - 2010) so it was a gamble. Well, the gamble paid off. The sound is strong. The other DVDs are basically weak in sound. I'm glad I discovered how to sort these DVDs properly so I could buy good quality DVDs. So if you are a fan of Lynyrd Skynyrd then this is a must-have.

This was a great concert event. A must see for any Skynyrd. I loved it when they put up the picture of the brother
