Finally, an excellent glazing putty for window installation. Product quality is outstanding. Hardens up within a half hour, painting is most viable after 3 days and the durability of the product is superior. The price is very good. Been looking for a product of this quality for a long time. Most pleased.

Better and cheaper than DAP 33. The first time I glazed windows with DAP, I struggled, had lots of redos, had to use mineral spirits to clean and smooth and had to wait weeks to paint. This time around I used Red Devil, which was very easy to use, smoothed over cleanly without rips or tears and was able to paint in a few days (I think the 24 hour claim is a little optimistic). Just be sure to knead and warm up a chunk before applying. Use a metal scraper (the kind with a bevel edge) instead of a putty knife. Also was able to glaze windows in place without a problem. Cleans up off of tools and hands with Dawn and hot water - no special chemicals needed. Windex worked fine for cleaning up residue on the glass (might need a couple of passes).

My hardware store did not even carry this. Works like it should, I used the points first to secure the glass to an old window fame in an old garden shed. However, I am so glad that modern windows are maintenance free!

Nice and convenient to be able to have this delivered to my doorstep. Just what I needed to seal a window I replaced after my kids broke it. Good quality and nice value for what you spend. Easy to use.

Much easier to use than traditional putty, sticks well, will not dry in the tub while working with it.
