Longevity
Product as described. Good for normal household printing jobs. If not used for long time, the ink dries up.

The cheaper the printer the more expensive the cartridges
Didn't last very long despite not having used very much. However the best thing that resulted was that instead of ordering 2 new cartridges ( colour and black ) for almost £50 i purchased an hp smart tank printer which will provide me almost 3 years printing ,without having to purchase any consumables, for £180. Printer cartridges are a rip off.(the cost of a new printer using these cartridges is not much different than the cost of the replacement cartridges. )

Awful. Not value for money.
Print quality ok. It only printed 10 pages before both cartridges were saying "out of ink". I've tried to clean the contacts, and even though a bit of ink came out on the lint free cloth (and my hands) the printer is still saying they're empty. Not great for homeschooling during a pandemic when money is already tight! How can anyone think that spending £40 plus for two ink cartridges to run out after 10 pages is beyond me.

Faulty Hp21 black cartridge in Hp21/ hp22 double pack. Twice!
This is not the item we had issues with but it won’t accept our review. It was the black cartridge hp21 from the double hp21 hp22 pack that was faulty. Expiry May 2023, both hp21 failed in 2 different printers, whilst old hp21 worked fine in both printers. Suggest faulty batch as markings to register genuine hp product appeared damaged. A further replacement was denied so refund is due. This leaves us without a printer so we are possibly looking for alternatives to Amazon, who we have always bought our ink from before this issue.

Incorrect cartridge - apparently
Purchased HP 21XL High Yield Black Original Ink Cartridge (C9351CE) earlier this year. First one used was OK; the second one has been a non starter apart from half a dozen copies after installation. Initially a message saying that the cartridge was incorrectly installed was received and as advised the cartridge was reinserted but the same message appeared. Having been away (and thus given the printer its own holiday!) I now have a message saying that an incompatible cartridge has been inserted. Since both cartridges came in HP packaging etc and HP cartridges have been the only brand used in this printer please advise why suddenly an incompatibility issue has arisen. Thank you.

Look out for expired manufacturers warranties
Both cartridges supplied have a manufacturers warranties that have expired between 13 & 14 years ago! My HP printer does not recognise them due to their age. Because of their age I suspect both cartridges are "dry or empty"as the default test print page was blank. Have emailed seller to ask for a returns label, as Amazons site asks me to print off a returns label, but the printer can't use these cartridges so its not possible to print that label! So I await a reply. Not very happy as this little package cost me a lot of money.
