Great water bowl
Great product!! Very durable for a destructive dog… had hoped that 7 gallons would be enough water that he wouldn’t flip his water bowl every morning… but he still flips… not the products fault!!

Low and sturdy
I bought this trough to have water available for the deer behind my house. I like that it’s low profile and sturdy enough to endure weather conditions.

Used as a big dog bowl
We purchased this to use as a water bowl for our X-Large Labrador and large bulldog. It works great for them and we don't have to re-fill their bowl 10x a day.

A cheap bed for a small dog
I got this for my 10 pound terrier/chi mix to use as elavated bed, the trainer told us to get some thing like one of those cot style bed but seriously I was looking on here and the coolaroo beds are hideously expensive. As a cheaper alternative(I went to tractor supply and it was ten bucks for the tub, score!) it works nice as a bed for my dog(I just stuck a old queen sized pillow and a blanket inside) the plastic tends to stay cool which is nice when it's hot. I'll probably bath her in it too, and maybe a small ball pit. :)

15" bottom
Why the funky star rating?Because the dimensions say:21 x 21 x 6.5 inchesThe TOP of the dish is 21"The BOTTOM is ONLY 15"I thought I was getting a bowl that was 21" ALL AROUND TOP TO BOTTOM.I didn't know I was getting a bowl that was only 15" at the bottom.For what I needed this for, I needed those extra inches. I'm not going to bother returning it, because I needed the bowl asap. But I thought I'd get my anger out on the review. lol. So, yeah, I feel better now.If you're looking for a truly large 21" bowl, look elsewhere.If you don't care that this tapers down to a measly 15" then go ahead and buy it.

Black paint peeled off in 2 days.
I bought this to use as a outside water bucket for the animals. Within 2 days I saw white on bottom of bucket. Thought it was the calcium in my water. Tried to clean it to find the black finish is peeling off a white bucket. Not sure what the finish is but I am no longer using it to water my animals. No where in the product description was a cheap black finish that peels off in 2 days listed. I would not buy from this company and stick to Rubbermaid or elsewhere.
