I watched videos on YouTube and the Luminess website before I tried the airbrush. The tips were very clear and handy. I have redness on my checks & chin, plus a small white spot on my nose after the doctor removed skin cancer. I had to apply my regular make-up slightly heavy in these areas to cover up my problem areas & by the late afternoon the redness was showing through the make-up. I was looking for a product that would cover my problem areas & yet not feel heavy. It took a little practice to use the airbrush and the videos were a big help in this area. At first I wasn't happy with the results. I removed the make-up & tried again. I had to do it several times before I was happy with the results.My husband and I decided to go shopping right after I applied my make-up. A lady walked up while we were shopping and said "my gosh, your complexion is beautiful. What do you do?" I was so taken back that I just said thank you & "nothing." I had spent years believing the redness was the first thing people saw. I wasn't use to such a compliment about my skin. My suggestion is to keep practicing until you are satisfied with the results. Keep the stylus at least 4 inches from your face & keep moving! Don't stay in one area too long. Start with only a few drops & lightly apply the first layer & then a second or third is necessary.

So easy to use and clean. I was afraid it would look like too much makeup for me cause I’ve never worn a lot but it’s just the opposite. Comes with tiny jars of makeup that I thought wouldn’t last long ast all, but it really only takes a few drops so the samples they sent will last a long time. Very pleased with my purchase.

The machine did not work. I tried to spray my face and the only way it would spray makeup out was if I held it pointing straight down and shook it. Then it would spray and stop, spray and stop. Leaving big puddles of makeup on my face where it decided to randomly squirt out the makeup. I kept trying to get it to spray evenly, but it would not. Whatever you do, DO NOT GET THE MAKEUP IN YOUR EYE. Not even a tiny drop. While I was trying to get it to spray, of course it works when I’m holding it above my eye and makeup shot me right in the eye. The makeup that comes with the machine got in my eye. I rinsed my eye out right away. That night I woke up in severe throbbing pain in my eye. My eye was oozing, bloody red and swollen shut. My eye was crusted shut too. I had to put cold compressions on it until I saw my eye doctor that day. I ended up at my eye doctor (emergency visit cha ching$) with an inflamed cornea caused from the makeup. My eye is now very light sensitive and I’m still in a lot of pain. It hurts and I cannot keep it open when I’m outside during the day. Hundreds of dollars later spent at the eye doctor, out of pocket, my eye has still not healed yet. It’s been over 10 days. Not sure what’s in the makeup, but it shouldn’t be used on your face or around your eyes. Very toxic. This machine ended up costing me my health and hundreds of dollars thus far having to pay for doctor visits, eye drops and a new contact prescription. My vision has changed because the makeup caused me to have cloudy vision. It’s like I’m trying to see through fog on the damaged eye. I had to have my contact prescription changed because of the damage it caused my eye. I’m not sure my eye will ever be the same or recover. I’m still in a lot of pain, under doctor care, angry and very disappointed with the seller of this product. This product should be removed and not be allowed for resale. It’s not safe. If I could give it zero stars I would. DO NOT BUY. You will be sorry.

My ordered this for me for my 14th anniversary, he knew I had been eyeing it up for a long time but didn't want to do the trial or spend over $300 for the kit. When the commercial came on and he saw it he reviewed it and asked me if I still really wanted it. I said Yassssss, he said read the reviews first then let me know, so I did and was still somewhat nervous due the the color matching and some said the air brush would clog. I love it, the first color in my tan kit I tried was perfect. Only thing I've found out is that you will need to use way more than 6 drops for coverage, probably 3 times that amount, so I'm getting some extra bottles thru the web site so I never run out, and I didn't need the 7 day challenge, first time beautiful. I used most/primer, then the foundation, then the bronzer then blush, then cleaned my unit for next time.

They sent the wrong color...way too dark.... but love the airbrush!! My face looks flawless when I use it and as long as I don't touch my face or get wet, it stays put all day! Way better than traditional foundations.

Very easy to use but for the price a larger volume of foundations would have made it easier to use. At this rate I'll be out of foundation if I make one error. Very poor impression.

The 1st time I received the order the blush was so clumped up I requested a replacement but had to send everything back when I finally received the replacement, the colors were now different, and the machine was clearly different from the original one and was pissed about it. It seems they can't get anything right or they are just not paying attention. You only get sample size that are really tiny. On top of that they owe me a difference that I still waiting for the refund difference. will update. It's not worth the hassle.
