Dr. Slick Hair Stacker Brass Finish - Fly Tying

I have purchased several Dr. Slick brand tools and have found all to be excellent quality. I recommend the medium size hair stacker for most uses.

I like the stacker a lot now that I have been tying a lot of flys using deer hair heads and collars. The only thing that I wish had been in the description was how the sizes are determined. I bought the medium stacker thinking that the barrel part of the stacker was 2", not the entire stacker. It is just a little too small, but I am going to work with it anyway. That part has nothing to do with the great delivery and the great item itself. The brass is nice and heavy which is needed for these stackers.

Very good device, it really works, I had a previous one of wood and was very hard to get that all the hairs arrived to the bottom of the stacker due to the walls roughness, this is very well polished.

I have been very impressed with this hair stacker. It is very finely made, has a solid feel and a beautiful brass finish. Furthermore, it stacks deer hair perfectly. I am a big fan of Dr. slick products and this one certainly met my expectations.

This item is nicely made and finished. I've never used a hair stacker before. This works nicely, but I have nothing to compare it with, performance-wise, other than an old 35 mm film container. This real hair stacker works a lot better and more easy than the film container ever did!
