I've been using this toner for just over a week on both my face and scalp (I'm currently shaving my head bald).Here's what I've noticed:1. It doesn't take a great deal of this product to achieve a good quality exfoliating clean.2. There's almost no scent.3. My skin feels soft and very clean after an application.4. This toner does an EXCELLENT job of keeping oily skin to a minimum. When I shave my head, I often end up with an oily scalp. However, while I've been using this toner, I have almost no oily buildup on my scalp at all.Overall:This is an excellent exfoliator for the pores and keeps oily skin to a minimum.Highly recommended5 stars

The HIMistry Naturals Green Tea and Lactic Acid toner comes in a sturdy 8oz black plastic bottle with a pour spout and costs ~$18 as of this writing. Very affordable.This toner provides both anti-inflammatory and exfoliating benefits. It contains several actives like lactic acid, salicylic acid, and glycolic acid, along with witch hazel (an astringent). No percentages or concentration of the aforementioned actives are included on the bottle. Soothing, nourishing, hydrating ingredients include green tea, cucumber, ginseng root, sodium hyaluronate, aloe Vera, etc. Please see the images for additional information.I think the toner is gentle enough for daily use, for some (based on sensitivity of the actives), and obviously, anyone can use it irrespective of gender. But be sure to do your research regarding your skincare actives. Some AHAs and BHAs, vitamin C and A, and their derivatives don't always play well with one another in the same AM or PM routine.For reference, I am over 40, with sensitive, acne-prone, combination skin. I was able to use this without any unusual reactions or noteworthy benefits. Still waiting to see the results. It feels good going onto the skin with a cotton round. It doesn't leave me dry or oily looking after use.The HIMistry Naturals toner does have added fragrance - herbal and medicinal. The liquid itself appears to be clear and colorless when it first comes out of the bottle but there are orange and brown particulates that come the more you use it. I assume these settled to the bottom and when I started shaking up the bottle they were more dispersed throughout. But it’s hard to say since the bottle is not see-through. I can’t say for sure what the orangey brown debris is.

My son has very sensitive skin. That's how it's always been for him. Now that he's a teenager, he can run into teenager skin issues. I definitely don't want him to have the acne I had when I was his age. That was terrible. Not just face acne either.This is a great toner. It might not seem like much but 8 oz goes a long way. That's helpful because you may want to use it on more than just your face. For what you get, the price point is better than many other, similar products.

I used this toner last night and it caused my skin to get red and uncomfortable. I have very sensitive skin and I was hoping that this product would be gentile on my skin. It was not and I have to stop using it.Value wise I think it is a good product because of how much you get. Its a really nice sturdy container and it will be easy to travel with and store in your medicine cabinet.Very easy to use and the directions are helpful as well.Just not for me but I think this product may be good for someone who does not have sensitive skin like myself.

Green Tea & Lactic Toner | Blemish-free Texture, Deep Exfoliation and Anti-Inflammatory 8ozThis toner really works. Even after washing my face thoroughly, there is still some dirt on the cotton pads that I use to apply it. I like the smell and my face feels fresher after using it. I haven't been using it long enough to determine if it is going to get rid of some darker age spots showing up on my face, but I am hopeful and will keep using it. It's an easy thing to do each day that only takes a minute or two.

My son uses this after cleansing his face. He pours out a few drops onto a round cotton pad and then wipes his face with it. He is always amazed at how much dirt and residue he sees on the cotton pad that is leftover after cleansing his face. This toner cleans his pores and leaves his face looking and feeling smoother. This has helped to clear up the pimples on his forehead.

A nice toner that does a good job at clarifying the skin. Helps to get deep into the pores and keep them clean throughout the day. Also helps with controlling the production of sebum which will help to keep you from developing oil slicks. Can be used for a simple wipe down with a facial pad or cotton swab at any point during the day for touch ups. Much cleaner and healthier than using just plain water or a dry pad.The scent isn't the best, but it's not really what I think of as strong and it will not linger once applied. It's not sweet or frilly, so it shouldn't turn off most men. Works well enough to just ignore the smell.Once it's applied and dried, it makes the skin feel soft. Not so much moisturized, though does have somewhat similar results.Should be good for all skin types, though for those with dry skin, I would follow up with some sort of moisturizer.Though I do like this toner, I find that it's way over priced at $18.99 (today's price) for 8 fluid ounces. There are similar toners on the market that cost less and some work just as well. If you don't mind the price, than you will get a good toner that is good for clarifying the skin and helping to soften it a bit.

I really like this toner. It works better than most toners, and I attribute that to the major ingredients which include glycerin, lactic acid, glycolic acid and more. This is bringing down my areas of hyperpigmentation, providing it works.There is fragrance. It's not too heavy and very pleasant. The volume is quite large, so it's a good economic purchase.
