The phone clamp springs open, which is wrong. It should spring close. The handle is great and I use it with an Arca clamp from Andoer (bought it on Amazon) to mount my Canon Rebel SL1 or the G7x mk2 - it's got a very positive grip and super useful for run&gun video or streetography.So I highly recommend the grip. As for the clamp, meh.

Easy to use, only 4 stars because last years model came with a mini tripod for the same price.Overall easy to get on and off my smartphone. Not much to explain other than its quick n easy.

This item works, but you need to really squeeze the part that holds the phone before locking it down or it will fall out! I use mine with a RØDE VideoMic Go and an iPhone 8 Plus in a Spigen Slim Armor case.

Worked good, but progressively gotten looser grip on holding the phone. Used a s8+.

Great investment. I use this for multiple action cams and my Mevo cam. I attached my Gopro session 5 and took it diving in the Bahamas. Salt water didn't hurt it and my video was much smoother than my friends who were just hand holding their cams.

Bought this as a pistol grip for a shotgun mic. Screwed the shock mount into the pistol grip and it worked great. Very affordable solution. And the smartphone mount was a bonus

I attache this to my Manfrotto tripod for a great travel tripod and vlog camera. It's been great and is very sturdy.

I haven't used it in a real use scenario by I did try it and it held my phone really well.
