Since the start of the pandemic-induced lockdown last year, I’ve been using a pair of Kore PVC sand-filled dumbbells. A year of wear and tear later, the sand has started to leak, to the point where I have to keep my eyes closed when I’m doing a chest press. The other problem that I faced was increasing weights between sets... The whole thing was cumbersome and annoying; I’d spend more time adjusting the weights and adding/ removing plates than actually working out. It’s been a day since I’ve gotten these beauties and I’m loving them! They’re easy to use, and they look and feel sturdy... And I just need to adjust the pin to change the weight! Boom, on to my next set! It does away with a lot of problems I’ve had with the sand-filled ones. Highly highly recommend these for your home strength training workouts!

The media could not be loaded.  The product I received did not match the description and was very different than what was shown in the product video. The space for the plates is not uniform as in they keep shaking noisily while working out. One is always cautious that the plates might drop at any time and cause injury. Also, since the outer part of dumbbell is made of plastic, you feel it slipping away sometimes. This is my first adjustable dumbbell so not sure if it is supposed to be this shaky but I can’t live under the fear that it could physically hurt me any time. I can’t trust it with that.
