MERIWOOL Womens Base Layer 100% Merino Wool Heavyweight 400g Thermal Shirt for Women

Excellent quality sweater, very soft but thick, as advertised. It’s for very cold weather so I’m going to wear the lighter weight tonight and will review that later but the heavier weight is very sturdy, will last forever. It runs small so I’d get a size bigger, unlike the medium weight (300g turtleneck), which does run a bit larger and looser. I absolutely love this 400g weight, not surprised it looks like they’re not making it anymore, quality like this is so hard to find these days. Does look like underwear, not decorative, but ample, good solid coverage.Update November 26, 2020:Just bought another one. Because I tried to find it before and couldn’t. Just in case they stop making it. Very good quality. Love the one I have. Still haven’t received the new order yet but it is Thanksgiving. Tracking says I’ll get it last week.... Doesn’t fill me with confidence. We’ll see

True to size. Soft. Not at all scratchy and warm. A must have layering piece. I wear it in the house since I don’t like to have the house heated super warm. Also, a wonderful layer under my jacket for errands, walks and hikes. Love that it is somewhat stretchy and has a bit of a feminine fit. I have a waist and get really sick of how American clothing is now being made so boxy. Love the fit on this garment! . Would purchase many more to wear daily if they had colors. Would love a navy and purple one also...Worth the money. It is a quality piece. Not at all scratchy!!!

Fits true to size. Very warm but breathes nicely so low chance of overheating if weather changes. Great for layering under or over garments. Easy to care for and re-blocks easily if there is any shrinkage or change of shape when washed.

Warm, thick but comfortable wool. Not itchy at all. Perfectly fitted for me. I bought a M and it hugs me at 38 full bust, 32 under bust measurements, but it doesn't squeeze me.I am always cold and this will be a winter favorite this year. already bought another color.

This top was not warm at all.I have continued to wear my 32s as the base for all tops,living in the mountains you need as much warmth as possible.I purchased this and the bottoms to keep warm as they advertised these as the warmest you could purchase.Not even close.Pj top warmer,unless you’re wearing a warm coat on top,consider something else.

Amazing quality for the price. Fabric feels luxurious and cozy. Not at all itchy, just soft! Fit is athletic and very flattering. In the past I have been a smart wool customer and on several of their pieces, but Mary will has it all over them with a lot more bang for the buck!

Shirt seems warm and well made. I'm excited to try it out when the weather gets cooler. It appears to fit true to size, but is designed to fit snug. Order a size up if would prefer a looser fit.

Wool is my favorite base layer and I really like this one for fit and thickness. It has a good fit - I bought Large and I'm 5'8" and 155lb average build. Sleeves are a good length and the fit is stretchy enough to be flattering without being too skintight. Very pleased so far.
