Two Stars
Bogs down easily, and the body is almost to big to hang on to.

5" grinder, made in Germany.
I bought this grinder specifically to fit the Bosch GA50DC dust control shroud. My intention is to use it to cut concrete, and it is a perfect fit, once you set it up (the set up with the dust control shroud is more for a different review, but this grinder DOES work very well with it if you follow the instructions). The grinder seems very heavy duty, well designed and robust. The switch mechanism is a 6" paddle switch that runs most of the length of the grinder, and it latches "off" after you release it. You have to switch a small secondary red switch in the middle of the paddle before you can depress the main switch to turn it back on. For the price I paid for the grinder, I am very pleased, especially with the compatibility with the Bosch GA50DC dust shroud. My only complaint is the amount of pressure that needs to be used to engage the spindle lock for changing disks, you have to press VERY hard to get it to engage to lock the spindle (even for a big guy). My five star rating was based on my original purchase price. I'm changing my star rating to a 3 for the current price, because i don't feel like at the current price this grinder deserves 5 stars. The price on this unit seems to fluctuate significantly, pay attention. You make the rules amazon, I'll play your game.

Works Great
If using for a big job (long "on" times) it gets uncomfortable to hold as there is no trigger lock. Other than that, it works great.
