It did not last me 5 minutes
I use was looking for a tripod for my cell phone braket that has a hand handle grip with a cold shoe mount with a shot gun microphone and Light and cell phone grip. With cell phone in Mount it weighs less then 4 pound. I took this tripod out of the bag strationd the legs out with nothing on it. A big chunk of the brace at the top of one legs broke off in the top where all Three legs met. Making this in unusable. On top of that the ball joint at the peak of the three legs was extremely loose and I could not get it tight at all.If you found this review useful please tag belowI paid my own hard-earned cash for this product.

nice tripod that is sturdy and durable
Today i recieved this Essential Market ICLOR-High Quality M-Size Octopus Stylish Portable Sturdy and Adjustable Tripod Stand Holder for Digital SLR Cameras and Smart phones.(Go pro Hero 1,2,3+4) in the mail. I love to take photos with my camera and this is a great new accessory for my camera. I love this. It can be shaped in multiple different ways so that I can get that perfect angle every time. This is a very sturdy tripod holder so I dont have to worry about it dropping my camera and breaking it. I love how it has the rubberized outer layer so that it will adhere to any kind of surface without slipping. The insides shape easily and will not break easily. This is well made and should last me a very long time if proper care is taken. I love that it folds up easily so that I can easily transport it if taking a vacation. This will fit nicely in my luggage without taking up too much space or weight. Overall, I am pleased with this tripod from Essential Market. Is this product durable? YesIs it priced well? YesEssential Market gave me this ICLOR-High Quality M-Size Octopus Stylish Portable Sturdy and Adjustable Tripod Stand Holder for Digital SLR Cameras and Smart phones.(Go pro Hero 1,2,3+4) for free so that I could give my totally honest review.

get what you pay for
Served it's purpose for a short while. After a few months of use though, the joints will become lose and will not keep their shape. The camera slides off the mount portion as well which is horrible if your camera is expensive.

Nice, versatile tripod for the price. Cell phone clip was an added bonus
After years of playing around with photography and hauling a large tripod around anytime I wanted a nice long expoure shot or a timelapse, I finally discovered these little stick-anywhere tripods. I've had a few versions and these have been (in my opinion) one of the greatest items in the photography world in a while.I have a similar unit I bought online a while back so I was able to compare to another version. Compared to the high-end versions of this item, you have to set your expectations by price. The GorillaPod Focus version (manufactured by Joby) has machined metal pieces and is much more robust. However, it is also 10 times the price. For $100 you will get a very high-end unit but the difference in functionality isn't worth the price difference in most cases. This is a medium-sized unit so I likely wouldn't recommend if you're using a DSLR with a heavy lens or battery grip. This could likely hold a lighter DSLR without falling, but you might run into issues with it slipping over time. I did find this excellent on a recent trip while using both a GoPro and a cell phone (with the included phone clip, which was a nice bonus). I climbed to the top of a playset at a park and in a few seconds, had a perfect setup to capture a time lapse of the sunset. I was probably most happy about the cell phone clip since I hadn't had one of those before, and never realized how handy they are. Also wanted to add - there is a quick release "shoe" to hold the camera onto the base. This might be handy if you wish to leave the tripod in place and take the camera off, however I did not find it particularly helpful in my case. I prefer to leave it locked in place to avoid it slipping it while I have my camera precariously hanging 10 feet off the ground. For the price, this is a nice little tripod and will likely come in handy more often than you expect.I received this item at a discount in exchange for an honest review.

nice little tripod
This nifty little device has been on my wish list for a while now since I've been wanting to create video reviews here on Amazon but realized it would be too awkward to hand-hold the camera and show off whatever item I was reviewing. Now my hands will finally be freed up to allow me to make proper videos. The joints on the legs are fairly stiff, which makes them reliable when propping them up in weird angles or wrapping them around something. I did have one pop off, but it popped back in so I'm not worrying about it. If I planned to use it really vigorously then it might be something to be concerned about, but since it'll spend most of it's life sitting on my desk for random video reviews and Periscopes, I'm not too concerned. The head mount has an easy-release system that I really like. If you're using an actual camera you can leave the one piece attached to the camera so that you don't have to twist the camera onto the tripod every time. I'm using this with the cell phone attachment, so I just leave that on the tripod and I'm able to slip the cell phone in whenever I want. Honestly it's just a really easy little tripod to use.I should add, though, that I did attach my Nikon D5500 DSLR camera to this tripod to test it out, and the tripod didn't seem fazed. It's not a great looking product, but it definitely gets the job done so I'm pleased. I'd certainly recommend this product!I received this item for free or deeply discounted in exchange for an honest and unbiased review. All opinions are my own.
