Brilliant machine and one of my best buys ever the coffee is just incredible and all instant coffee now tastes like plastic.

Very familiar with Delonghi,own Magnifica s for 13 years and still working great.Greased infuser several times a year and descaling 1 a month with citric acid.Purchased used from this seller( great ),machine come like new. With tapes and plastic on,no box,but very well packaged. Don’t think was even used.Just making great coffee without $$$. I also purchase Delonghi toaster oven,and love it for heating and cooking smaller meat. The biggest challenge when purchasing my De'Longhi was choosing the right model. I mostly drink americano and espresso coffee, but some of my family enjoy milk based beverages. Of the fully automatic models, I chose the Eletta because of the price, design, simple milk menu, and self cleaning frother.Features that I enjoy:* makes consistently good espresso and americanos* 6 coffee sizes* 5 grinding settings, and pre-ground option* intuitive and easy to use menu system* LCD panel has clear instructions and alerts (fill talk, add beans, dump grounds)* easy to use and self cleaning milk frother* automatic shutoff (configurable in hours)* hot water dispenserThings that were a surprise:* grinder cycle is loud (wakes up the house)* some of the smaller coffee sizes are below what I would use (I like an americano most of the time)* if you have hard water, descaler needs to be used once a week* I'm drinking 2x as many coffees as I was before :-)

This is my second DeLonghi, the first went to my ex after 3 years of great service... The Elena was an upgrade, and I love it. I received it when family was visiting and my niece wanted a Flat White; it was so easy to make her one right out of the box. After that first weekend I was fine tuning programming Sunday night, looked at statistics, and we had made over 50 drinks for the 4 adults and 3 kids, with pics of each sent all over social media! Needless to say, we put it through its paces, and are 100% satisfied. I have a feeling several will be ordered for Christmas presents after a dinner party we’re hosting next weekend!

This was an upgrade for us, from a Krups automatic espresso/coffee maker. Although the Krups served us well and has been passed on to a new owner, this machine is far more refined and versatile. The convenience of the milk frother is phenomenal! The bean hopper is quite substantial and the waste bin is to. Water reservoir is very easy to fill. We're loving this machine!

I am still learning all of the features of this coffee machine. By far it produces the best coffee I have ever had!!!
