Waste of Money and Worst Customer Service
Within 10 days Fan stop working and I bought it along with an extended warranty helpbit.Customer Service is the worst part.

UK customers will need a power converter!
Arrived today. Shipped from Wisconsin USA. Opened to find it has an American plug. OK, I'll order a US to UK adapter, no big deal. But then I thought I'd check what the US power supply is and turns out its 120 volts. The UK is 230 volts. So meant either returning it or buying a US to UK power converter. I decided to spend another £34 for a converter as I've read wonderful things about these fans. Terrible that there is no mention of these requirements in the listing (at time of writing).I very nearly did what the other poor UK reviewer did (I do feel for you) and was just going to buy an adapter which would have burned it out and is surely dangerous. So my 1 star review is not so much for the fan, its for making it available to UK buyers without informing them they will need a converter!Absolutely shocking! (Pun intended).Might be obvious to some, but its not for probably most of us.

Burning smell
Fan had a burning smell and eventually stopped working. Also you need an adapter to use it in the UK which isn’t mentioned anywhere.

Not for use in the UK!
I read other reviews and did not believe the negative comments but its true this is not intended for use out of the USA. Unless you have a step down converter it will run loud on 240v and not be covered by the 5 year warranty.

Warning- American plug!
This has an American plug and is too strong even using a good quality step down transformer. Had to return it.

It's set itself on fire after only 2 minutes of use!!
I plugged this fan in and after maybe at most 90 seconds I could smell something that resembled burning plastic, I checked the vornado and it had smoke pouring from it and then it shorted out. It could have only been running for 2 minute at most. Not only is it a waste of money it is a fire risk. I HIGHLY ADVISE DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.
