Lavatools PT09 Digital Instant Read Meat Thermometer (Chipotle)

I needed a new thermometer after i broke my old one and after countless of hours reading through reviews, I decided on this one due to the looks & reliability. My old thermometer lasted me two years so I'm hoping this one will last just as long or longer. It has been two months since I purchased this product and I've been using it daily. So far I have not had to re-calibrate it and it still looks brand new. 5/5 stars

Works great - just takes a little time to get an accurate temp read. Not a "Quick Read" but pretty close - good for the money.

Long probe, fun, easy to find color! Works well

Everyone in the kitchen comes to me to borrow it, it works. The long probe means it doesn't really fit the chef coat pocket very well, it falls out if I lift my arm too high. But to be fair, everyone wants to use it because of the ease of use, accuracy, and long probe (good reach, keeps your hand away from the heat and is thin enough to temp thin meats).

Instant read and using my old thermometer that has a large dial, is very accurate. That being said, the display is just a tad too small for me to use without wearing my glasses. This is a nice instrument but make sure you know how large the readout panel is if that size is important to you.
