I was on fence due to expensive tag. But this turns to be a very high quality adhesive. You can't use it for big projects since its expensive as Gold.

Awesome product! I wish I could use it for dental work. Do not under any circumstances use for dental work. That would be bad… and you would most likely die. It is great for automotive, crafts and repairs that you never want to have to fix again.

Folks, just ensure you are using the right epoxy for the job. In my case, I needed to fill in a non-load bearing structural gap in a piece of carbon fiber that was created when it was penetrated by a screw. For this purpose, this epoxy has been excellent, it has created an sufficient bond, and I speculate it is actually stronger than the surrounding structure. I highly recommend this product for your epoxy needs assuming the application is appropriate.

This is exceptional adhesive but why do you pay for it. Almost 50 bucks.

What it says on the tin there. Was gluing together some performance functional replacement parts that I had to split into twos or threes because of print volume limitations. This stuff bonded it together without a hitch. You need to get the Adhesion Promoter (and be CAREFUL with that- it's industrial chems and dangerous if you don't adhere to the ROE they give you on the packaging for that.) because it won't bond NEARLY as good to the PC-CF or similar. Once there it applied with the mixing nozzles and the gun like a dream. Simple. Easy. It's now in my toolbox of things to fabricate stuff with. Do read up on 3M's info on this stuff before reaching for it. It's technically Industrial Chems itself and you need to know what you're working with before purchase.

3m consistently makes really good products. This epoxy is the best I've ever used. I've used it for about 16 years in my business. Having black is helpful, but the quality is great. TIP: Read the product application data. Good surface prep is important. Warm the repair it to 120F and hold it there. This speeds the cure rate, and drops the time need to cure to full strength from 24 hrs down to about an hour, and it's stronger too. When buying, check the manufacturing date and shelf life. There are vendors out there who shamelessly sell out of date product. (not with this order!) Out of date product may not work as well. Adding: 5/24 I received another tube today. The seller put their in stock label over the bottom of the product label, covering the date code etc. which is printed on the 3M label when the epoxy is made. Their label adhesive lifted the obliterated the date code when I tried to remove it. What's dumb is that they put the epoxy in a poly Ziplock bag before mailing it. Why didn't they put their stock label on the bag?

I ordered this product, and on first use, the cartridge exploded out the back, spilling epoxy everywhere. I attempted to contact the company with no success. There is no way to reach them. The listed contact information is not correct. Generally 3M makes great epoxy and I've used them many times without issue, however, I would not buy from this reseller again since they don't stand behind their product or offer any support.
