Not bad for rainy days
This tent is not bad for rainy days, however, overnight rain can cause some condensation to build up inside the tent. The bottom fabric has a similar texture to the side fabric, but i wish to see more sturdy fabric that can withstand more use without damage by gravels.

Amazingly resilient.
This tent went through a significant weather event and popped right back into shape, while remaining dry inside. The strong onshore wind pushed the tent almost flat like a wafer and as the subsided it came back to it's original shape and dimensions. Good value for money.

Great overall tent! (Updated!)
I ordered this tent to expand my camping season into the winter. My son and I took it out shortly after receiving it and used it in -1C (30F) weather with snow and it performed well. There was some wind as well and this tent kept the wind out. Was easy and straightforward to set up.My only two caveats or questions:- the one picture shows the tent poles being in an X shape, but they were actually standard round aluminum poles- I was expected the snow skirt at the bottom to actually hit the ground and then extend out a bit, this was not the case, they had maybe an inch of overlap to the ground. Didn't seem to cause any performance issues, but just was not as expected.Overall the tent was great, really appreciated the "lobby" area to store shoes, etc. and provide a buffer to the snow outside. This was one of my first times winter camping and I had the tent zipped up tight and therefore woke up to some condensation inside from our breathing. The tent has handy vents at the top that I would suggest you use in cool weather to provide adequate ventilation even when it's cold out.Oh, and it says it is a 4 person tent, but you'd all have to be pretty intimate if you're sleeping with 4 people in here. My son and I used it and we each had a sleeping bag on top of one of those thermarest style sleeping pads and there was only enough room leftover for our backpacks and a small buffer around us so we weren't sleeping in contact with the tent. I bought this expecting it to not really hold 4 people so it's not a problem for me, just be aware of this fact. I would not recommend it for more than 2 people.I think the tent is a great value purchase. Without having one of the $800 brand name tents next to me to compare it to, I can't say what I'm missing for the other $600+ dollars, but I am happy with this purchase and it appears well made and as I said for my testing of it in the middle of nowhere in the snow and cold it seemed to hold up well and I look forward to taking it out again!EDIT: I just took the tent out again in -16C (3F) and remembered to open the rooftop vents this time. Worked perfect, no condensation at all! I had a small electric heater on a couple times throughout the night although the tent held the heat so well I had to turn it off to not overheat. Very impressed. Final conclusion: if you need a tent for winter camping and you’re thinking about this one... stop thinking and just get it.

I've taken it everywhere and I love it
I go to a lot of festivals in various spans of weather. In this tent, I've been everywhere from the desert in 110+ degree weather to temperate rainstorms in 50-80 degree summer weather to freezing mountaintops with temperatures dropping to 15 degrees, and this tent has loyally held through it all. Sure, you need to bring different sleeping equipment, but this tent is really practical for it all if you're ready for the elements.I've gotten a good year plus use out of it so far, and haven't had any breakages or significant wear despite regular use. The zippers, wall material, and stakes all work great. For harsher conditions, you may want more heavy duty stakes, but for more typical weather the included ones work fine. The rain fly does a great job of keeping you dry.The size is good on the inside. I fit my cot and my gear inside very comfortably - you could easily squeeze two people inside if you wanted, though it'd be cozy if you weren't curled up with the second person! When packed it also fits into a pretty small form factor, which is nice since my car is usually packed full of other equipment.Overall I can wholeheartedly recommend this tent for almost all purposes! It's been a great value and I'm expecting to get plenty more use out of it. This one is a winner!

Overall a great tent!
I’ve been using the tent for 3 years now on multiple (21) excursions. Never let me down. It arrived in one piece and assembled great no issues. The fly is a bit light for a driving rain but if it is anchored correctly the tent is dry and and quiet in the wind. The carrying bag ripped at the handle but I sewed it up and it’s new. Super glue it if the polyester starts to fray. I had to cut several extra lengths on cordage for securing the fly. IT IS AN AMERICAN 4-Season, NOT A CANADIAN 4-Season Tent. Big difference. The coldest I could sleep out in it and not be miserable was -6C (late fall in Ontario). And my sleeping bag did all the work keeping me warm. As for condensation, as long as the fly is away from the inner walls and the lines are tight and anchored well in wind, you’re good to go. The tent itself is a spacious 2-person. Though, I fit a double-sized air mattress in it with room inside for 2 hiking bags to the side. The doors on with end of the tent are useful, or you have extra covered, dry space if you only use one door. The storage inside the tent is great, above hanging pocket is great for holding flashlights and bear spray for quick access (I have some stories for when I’m old) at night. The side pockets are kinda hard to access if you have an air mattress blown up but if don’t “glamp” like myself, they’re easily accessible and big enough to hold multiple sets of phones, keys and wallets while around camp. Poles or sticks to hold main entry flap at front are a must, I usually just find them on my way into camp. The overall weight of the tent is okay to carry on your bag, you just need straps big enough to attach it. 4 stars because I’ve had to do a few things to it
