When I was looking for motors for my 10" quad, I was trying to be cheap at first to see how it handled and if I wanted to continue with that size build.If tuned right, these things never get hot and definitely perform really well.Spool-up is a little slow with 10" props, but that's for the most part to be expected when you're only running a 4S system. They do handle good though when you're up and flying around.

I have ordered 12 of these motors and they work great. There are probably cheaper ones out there but I needed some to work with 4 lipo cells. I use the DJI type self tightening props and the motors stay cool during flight. Great motors.

Great motors. They are real smooth and well balanced. I use them on a s500 quadcopter. I like that the locking nut has opening and you can insert a tool to help you tighten them.

There other brushless motors in amazon, but few of them have this quality. It is not the best but is one of the few 2212 that accepts 4 cells without burning it. After several studies on the RCbenchmark 1520 thrust stand with different propellers shows good performance and good punch with only 3 cells battery. The point special of this motor is the efficiency (gram force per watts). It is not a racer motor, it is an endurance and stability motor.
