Pure ProteinP CHOCOLATE PEANUTCARAMEL - 50 G COUNT OF 6

The price I paid for this shipment was good and the shipment was delivered quickly, BUT out of the three boxes I have opened so far, all three contained protein bars which had at some time melted. They were not put in a warm place in my home - but in a cool basement.The chocolate coating is dull in color and I have to cut the bars out of the wrappers to eat them .. and this is NOT convenient, since I generally carry the bars with me in my purse (in a plastic protective container) to eat while out and about (I and my purse are always in air conditioning, not in the hot sun!). When I enjoy a bar at home, the previously melted chocolate coating flakes off and is messy.They are still delicious though, and I will be ordering more from this source, hoping when they are shipped in cooler weather they might not melt before I get them.

People this isn't a snickers or hersheys bar.... Its a protein bar and it taste like one, but its really good for a protein bar. I have tasted many others and this is my favorite. I tried the Smores and the Chocolate chip and I wanted to choke... Those were awful. I now just buy these peanut butter ones.20 g of protein for only 200 calories - does not have 180 like the picture says. At 200 cal and 20g of protein you cant ask for much more. I have tried to find other bars with 20g of protein and they are all higher in calories.... No thanks. Many times i'll eat 1/2 for 100 cal and 10g of protein for a little snack. I no longer buy granola bars filled with sugar.These are chewy not crunchy.Put in fridge, I think they taste better from the fridge compared to a room temp box in the pantry. I always have 2-3 in the fridge and replace as I eat them.They are dense and do keep you full for a while. Some days I'll grab an apple or banana and one of these bars and I am good to go until lunch.They have other flavors, but after the disgusting smores and chocolate chip bars, I'll save my money and stick with these or try to find them at a local store first where I can buy one to taste and not be stuck with 2 boxes.And last..... Hello.... They are less than 80 cents for each bar when you use subscribe and save... 9 dollars for two boxes... Hell yeah :)

These protein bars taste like Milky Way to me, where it is kind of nutty with peanut butter. I ordered these bars because of the reviews; I was really looking for bar that has lots and LOTS of chocolate (like Hershey's chocolate bar). If you are searching for a really chocolatey kind of bar, then this isn't the bar for you because there is only a really thin layer on the outer surface of the bar. But if you like the nutty peanut butter taste (like crunchy peanut butter), then this protein bar is for you.The packaging looks just like the picture; the 6 bars come in 2 small boxes that are easy to open and display. I like the wrapping of each bar because it looks visually appealing to eat them (unlike Cliff Bars which have this old-school look which doesn't look very inviting to eat, but I hear Cliff Bars are one of the best so I may try them eventually).For the price, I thought it was really good because it was under a dollar for each bar, and each bar is decently sized to eat. I try to eat them on my drive to school because I don't have time to eat breakfast in the early morning.

I once learned in nutrition class that digestion starts in the mouth with chewing, and from this tasting as well. This bar tastyy! I also feel very good after having one and can eat them on an empty stomach and do a few hours of sports feeling satisfied. It has a very nice peanut butter taste and has a small but very satisfying crunch to it. Compared to other bars like MetRx (i have to force myself to eat this stuff), Cliff (way too sweet!), power bar Triple threat (i think due to the higher sugar content i usually dont feel so good afterwards as i do with pure protein), power bar (too chewy! Pure protein has a nice CRUNCH to it so it feels like real food).These bars are worth a try. I have 2 boxes on subscription every month and keep a few bars in the car and in my backpack wherever I go. I save a lot of money on food because instead of buying a $5 dollar meal or a $1 dollar crappy fast food item I eat a 80cent pure protein bar instead and I know exactly what I am getting in my bar, versus eating at a restaurant the food may seem healthy but actually be filled with all kinds of butter and oils.

Yep it's true, these taste better than the other varieties and are better nutritionally than the other types of protein bars. The chocolate on these tastes less chemically, if not exactly like real chocolate and the peanut butter masks any other chemical flavor. So very very palatable, which could be a problem because you can eat more than 1 of these at a sitting, unlike any of the other flavors. I tried these based on other reviewers' opinions and I agree with them.
