This belt is 1 7/8 inches wide not 2” Your holster and all of your equipment will dangle and not fit snuggly. (See pic for the gap on the top of my holster) A duty belt should be 2.25 inches.. serves me right for assuming. Also it runs small. Don't rely on their size chart. I should have listened to other reviewers and not purchased this thing. Definitely returning and buying one at a local supply store. Why this junk is on the market is beyond me.

I needed a duty belt for every day wear in the police/security profession. I had spent a career in plain clothes, and never needed to have a duty belt before, and had just used a belt holster and accessories that worked on a regular leather belt. However, my post-retirement position requires changing into a standard uniform, which includes a bulky ammo carrier and a large holster that doesn't work well on a normal leather belt.This duty belt is excellent--high quality and everything you'd expect from a product carrying the Bianchi name. When paired with the (separate) velcro inner liner belt, it eliminates the need for belt keepers used on other kinds of duty belts. It's very easy to adjust the size of the belt to fit a waist. The buckle is solid and has a button combined with a pinch release, so it won't come off by accident. It looks somewhat cheap compared to a shiny brass buckle, but it works great and keep the product cost down.The only real drawback I can see is that the velcro can make it difficult to position any holster or accessories that have moved along the belt, once the duty belt is mated to the velcro belt liner. It's not that tough, more of an occasional nuisance, and mostly due to the cheap holster and cuff carrier I was issued.The duty belt has stayed in place while running, bending over, climbing stairs, and doing day-to-day activities. I expect it to last for years, making the cost a bargain over cheap belts. It's easier to deal with than leather belts with metal buckles, though it isn't as stylish or as impressive looking. Highly recommended.

I only gave it 3 stars because of the improper sizing, it states my size would fit 32 to 34 inch waist but when I received my belt it barely fit so I hope I don't gain weight,try to order at least 4 inches above your waist size.

This belt is very rigid and sturdy, which is exactly what I was looking for! The belt can be adjusted ,but there is no elastic. Perfect duty belt!
